Real-time power draw monitoring with OLED power display

This alone was enough for me to make the move, cheers.

Not sure about buying a new non ATX 3.0 PCIE5 PSU now without the 12VHPWR

Decent deal, just be aware this PSU has the fan facing up if you want the OLED to be in the correct orientation. This means that fully enclosed PSU shrouds aren't the best idea as the PSU won't be able to draw in fresh air.

    • So you can't flip the display orientation?

      • +4

Lets just say even if you can flip the display orientation and have the fan face the bottom. The Oled screen would now be facing the cable management side of the case which doesnt have the window. So its just a bad design.

        • I've thought for the past 20years…… for a fan-facing-bottom psu, why the hell do they ALWAYS put the voltage table facing the outside (window side) and the cool looking name/design part facing the side that you can't see?? It's baffled me for YEEEEARS! I did see a psu that had the correct orientation but it was a very cheap n nasty psu (only buy seasonic)

@teddiebear: Yes, also bought nothing but Seasonic PSU's for about 12 years now, probably racked up over 100 by now and not one has ever failed.

            • @TrevorX: They are the best you can get. I don't know if they still do, but they made psu's for corsair, silverstone, xfx, supa flower, and a couple of others which i forget. Those companies just rebadged them as their own.
Never cheap out on a major safety feature that can take your dystem with it lol. Just like on a car…. don't cheap out on brake pads, tyres, shocks.

    • Thats hilariously bad design.

  • dont have glass on the side of my case, so doubt I'd ever see the display ….. why did't they put it on the back with the on/off switch ?

    • +4

I would think because the majority of builds have a clear side panel

  • Not a bad one, I’m still using it for my 4090.

Not a fan of all the flashy LED stuff (except the power consumption display could potentially be cool) but didn't even realise you could get a PSU like this which also includes CableMod parts. Seems like a very good deal overall.

  • I like being able to quickly see the power draw in real time by glancing over to the case…

  • Great price for a premium platinum psu!

  • I don't need it… I don't need it… I don't need it……. I NEEED IT (I copped)
