MCG Rite Of Passage - Sunday July 15th (Richmond VS Hawthorn)

10

Rite of Passage History
Rite of Passage is an initiative of the Melbourne Cricket Club that provides older generations an opportunity to introduce their children to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Australia's most iconic sporting stadium. Since the inaugural Rite of Passage two years ago, more than 2000 parents and guardians have exposed their children to a unique MCG experience, initiating a lifelong love of Melbourne's sporting hub.

This annual offer is a vibrant and energetic addition to the family football outing. Over the past two years, participants have relished in the opportunity to have a kick-to-kick on the hallowed turf, collect autographs from AFL players and pick up their fantastic MCG show bag before heading to a specially reserved seating area to watch the game with family and friends.

2007 MCG Rite of Passage
This year, 550 children along with their parent/guardian will have the opportunity to participate in Rite of Passage on Sunday July 15 at the MCG.

Participants will receive the following offer for each child successfully registered:

  • Free child's ground entry ticket (with the purchase of an adult ticket)

  • Child sized football

  • Opportunity to have a kick-to-kick on the MCG arena before the game

  • An MCG show bag full of goodies

  • The chance to meet various AFL players
