Beyerdynamic Blue BYRD Wireless In-Ear Headphones (2nd Gen) $79 (RRP $199) Delivered ($0 MEL C&C) @ PC Case Gear

A couple of places are discounting these headphones. Chose PCCaseGear as they have with free postage for this particular item. You can also get these from Umart/MSY for the same price if you live near one, otherwise you'll have to pay for postage. Note, while PCCaseGear doesn't specify that these are 2nd Gen, the model no. is correct and the 2nd Gen has the neckband, whereas the 1st Gen does not.

I don't know much about these but a couple of reviews suggest that these are pretty decent. Does anyone here have any experience with these?

Soundguys

If you want a set of earphones that more or less “just works,” the Beyerdynamic Blue BYRD (2nd generation) makes for a solid choice—even during the reign of true wireless earbuds. While the band design is a throwback to an earlier era, Beyerdynamic includes many features that listeners have come to expect such as the aptX Bluetooth codec and multipoint support, and the battery performance doesn’t hurt either.

With its clearly delineated left and right sides, this headset is a good option for people with impaired vision. You may find the band and earbuds’ wires a bit annoying, however—especially at first. Plus, the microphone’s lack of effective noise cancelling and the less than fully-featured EQ in the app are both a bit of a bummer.

Headphonecheck

The Beyerdynamic Blue Byrd (2nd generation) is offered at an attractive price of around 129 euros and leaves a positive impression throughout. The wearing comfort of the neckband design is high, the battery performance is convincing, and the sound of these particularly lightweight headphones is powerful and ideally suited for mobile use. In addition, these headphones are suitable for sports, film and office use. The sound personalisation is an exciting extra that is not found everywhere and, when used correctly, represents definite added value.
