  • The cheeseburgers really aren't better at Hungry Jacks but hey, free is free. Maybe I'll shake up a fries or drink too.

    • you shut your mouth

Either you work for hungry jacks, have a secret code for ordering or have no tastebuds lol. I'd love to know how and if you get good cheeseburgers xD

        • +10

They are better than maccas ones still

@Pinchy: You mean the Macca's hamburgers or cheeseburgers? Because yes to hamburgers but not to cheeseburgers. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even like McD.

The BBQ cheeseburger I find is actually better at HJs despite being cheaper.

Na I just reckon hungry jacks/BK are good mix up to the old micky D's. I reckon the cheeseburgers are better, so there you go. Shut your mouth!

          • @benny2000: Yeah I really need to know what store you go to because no way in hell at the ones I've been to 🤣

The cheeseburgers is definitely better at Hungry Jacks. Bigger buns than McDonalds. McDonalds is the size of your little cookie, shame.

Hungry Jacks everyday, they win in my book.

Fans must show their game day ticket or membership card or digital voucher for a free burger

    • +3

The digital voucher refers to the email you get after entering in your details and the code word.

I've claimed free cheeseburgers before without a game ticket.

Do u need to click redeemin store via email link?

        • +3

Not until you are in the store ready to redeem

      • +1

        Ok thanks!

You gotta be kidding? Not worth jumping through all of the hoops just for a 2nd rate cheesburger

  • That’s how they get you addicted

  • How long does it take for the email to come through? Been a few mins now and still haven't received…

    • I got mine immediately. Maybe check promotions/spam?

      • Yea I've checked, still nothing. I even downloaded the app and clicked the banner, even though I now see this was edited out in the post as unnecessary.

        • Maybe try again or use a different email. I'm not sure why you didn't get an email.

          • +2

@Clara capybara: Did try again but still nothing. All good though, just claimed it by showing them the page saying Congratulations. Also claimed free birthday Whopper (same one claimed twice), large soft drink on Shake n Win, then went to Macca's for a $1 large fries haha.

          • +1

@Clara capybara: Checked my email and it did actually come through just over an hour ago. Might claim again tomorrow (with the actual voucher this time).

  • Wow big whoop, free cheeseburger, hopefully they will bring back the whopper for the meth coast home matches.

Not worth, HJ's cheese burger is foul

I see what you did there… Resulting in 2 missed free throws.

      Or

You are mixed up with KFC.

  • A silly question as I know nothing about the game. What exactly does this mean 'if the AWAY team misses two consecutive free-throw shots in a single penalty, fans get a free cheeseburger at Hungry Jack's. The shots must be two consecutive missed free-throw shots in a single penalty"?

    • +3

I don't know much about the game but I'm presuming that means if a home player gets fouled, and the away team gets (at least) two free throws and if they get neither in the net it's burger time. In the case of 3 free throw, they have to miss the first two (not one and three for example). Not sure if it's possible rule-wise to get the first and still be awarded three shots (ie miss two and three, thus counting) - someone else can chime in here.

Naturally, if they get 2 one free throws and miss both, it won't count as they're separate.

Damm.. got excited there for a minute.

Just don't have one of these…

Fans must show their game day ticket or membership card or digital voucher for a free burger

    • +1

You’ll get the digital voucher from the link on the email that they’ll send you after entering your details

  • I got to the "your free burger is on the way" page but haven't received any email.

  • +1

I showed the 'your free burger is on the way' page to the guy at the register and he put it through no questions.
There was a verify slide button on the previous page, I felt like I was supposed to show that page and verify in front of them.
