      You don't, if you have gift cards. Just got to select the eligible Mastercard, but you don't actually have to use it.

    Worked for me on my CBA debit card - first try. No tempting deals on uber though, not for a very long time. Probably why they've offered this.

    I am targetted, got the email from commbank. But when I try to redeem I get an error saying “Card cannot be used for payment”. Anyone else having similar problems. I had the same issue with my CBA Amazon prime offer as well. I emailed the MasterCard elevate help line, but no response.

      Make sure you are using the link in the offer you got. The Ozbargain link didn't work for me, but using the link I got through CBA did.

    basic CBA debit working fine
    their default CBA credit card was not valid but you can change/remove payment methods as soon as you sign up

    I wasn't able to find that it auto-renews in the terms and conditions. Does anyone know if it is possible that it just lapses after 6 months. I'm asking this because I was able to get the 6mth extension on a second card.

      Hot tip. Order chickens the earliest as they open. You will get a credit for it as not in stock. Ended up paying $24 in total and they waive the service fee if they can't deliver one item.

    Signed up successfully with my CBA Mastercard however none of the Uber One benefits can actually be used. In the final payment screen I get the following error message,

    "This card is not eligible for your uber One offer. Please use your eligible Mastercard"

    Tried multiple Mastercards and same issue.
