    32" Full HD? Yeah, nah.

      Honestly fair enough

It'll be like looking through a flyscreen.
It's also $279 now. Seems like they dropped it further.

I'd be getting my eyes checked 😉

        • I'd be getting my eyes checked 😉

Yeh, for some inexplicable reason, he must have eyes like flies'. Worrisome indeed.

      Insane resolution the ad claims!
Guess Gerry has lost some staff?

  • It's a Kogan screen so unsure if any good

    • +2

Pretty Kogan doesn't manufacture displays. They just chuck their label on either crappy or half decent whitelabel goods.

      • Correct, these only a couple of doz global panel manufacturers and Kogan most certainly ain't one of them! Is this panel/ drivers/ power supply and more any good?

    • Kogan screens are pretty good. I have an ultrawide I've daily-ed for 5 years. This one is probably not that great due to the resolution.

      • Better than Medion (Aldi) ?

        • Never tried Medion but I have tried many Dell monitors and honestly the Kogan holds up for daily work duties and some gaming. It's not the absolute best monitor in terms of color reproduction and black levels, but it's certainly good enough and value for money.

    Was $599, maybe in 2016.

  • +2

Won't neg because I appreciate a deal post, even if the product isn't great. But yeah OP especially with kogan, this display was never going to be worth near 599. Pre sure they got into legal trouble for marking up prices right before a discount lmao, this sure is a product

    • +2

Damn, will keep that in mind

I had always had a 24" 1080p monitor for years and have owned a 27" 1080p monitor for the last couple now.

From these experiences, I can only imagine how hideous 1080p would look stretched to 32" when the jump from 24" to 27" was almost too much on that res.

YMMV, just my 2 cents to consider before jumping on the seemingly cheap deal.

  • They also have the 4k version for $387 down from $450 I think it was and the non curved version for $329, they say its 4k but is it really?

If you're chasing a cheap 32" 1080p screen perhaps the Acer EB321HQA at $199 is a good option? Do a google search few places are selling it at this price

32" FHD? wow. waiting for a 42" HD deal.

  • Great as a TV with a chromecast plugged in.

    • +3

it's curved though so I doubt it

      • I glossed over that, haha.

And the fact that it's a VA panel.

  • -3

Neg this comment if you agree 32" FHD looks perfectly fine.

  • All the comments about shitty Kogan but no one mention the 240hz on the monitor.

    • +1

it could be 1kHz but that isn't going to fix the fact that that resolution is unacceptable on a screen that size

  • +1

I have a 1440p 32 inch and that is bad enough. Anyone buying this monitor will want to be seated pretty far back

  • Kinda too large for Full HD IMHO

  • 9ms response time WITH overdrive is hot garbage. I can’t imagine how poor the black level smearing would be

    • This is probably a good tax deduction for those people mostly engaged in wfh gaming

    • Negative reviews stating ghosting.. sounds about right

  • Lots of big 1080p screens available second hand real cheap. Plenty of people buy it & realise 1440p is the minimum at 32" to be usable.

  • 9ms response, reviews ranked lowest to highest say there's a lot of issues with ghosting
