    Well autonauts was okay. I found it got very fiddly when you get to the second level of the tech tree, and the devs were extremely unhelpful in the forums, indicating that it was that way on purpose. However it was fun for a few hours. They may have fixed it between then and now.

      Thoroughly agree with this. It should be a great automation game but you get way too bogged down in busywork to be able to progress. By the time you start creating colonists I'm already questioning what the overarching goal is and why I should keep playing.

      I know there were new updates in the last couple of years, so I'm still happy to go back and give it another chance to see if there's any QOL improvements.

    Actually I was going to get this for Rebel Galaxy and then I realized that I already have that on PS Plus Whatchamacallit. I've been playing it all day, and after a rough start (doesn't really have a tutorial) it's pretty decent. Especially for that price.

  Every seems to be asking for recommendations - here goes:

  • Rebel Galaxy is really good, and presumably Outlaw as well
  • I am Bread is a silly game, think of it like Goat Simulator but you're various types of bread
  • PAYDAY 2 if you like FPS games with loot
  • Pathologic 2 is apparently a great RPG with tonnes of atmosphere. I'm not into horror myself, so it's still in my pile of shame
