  • looking for a 12 or 13gen CPU under 300$… hopefully afterpay ebay deals tomorrow do me well

  • +1

I have a 12600k paired with a 6900xt and the combo works really well with gaming. I'd prefer a 13th gen but these 12th gen are still a great option.

  • yeah waiting for that sweet 13600 kf 2moz

  • i bought Intel Core i5-12600KF CPU + MSI MAG B660M MORTAR Wi-Fi DDR4 Motherboard Bundle $539.10 Delivered + Surcharge @ Shopping Express ,……………………… 15/3/2022… one year ago

It seems that it hold the value very well

  • is this better or 13400f for gaming? 13400f is cheaper right?

    • I think F doesn't have an iGPU

    • Depends on a few things: what games you're playing, what graphics card you're using (or plan to use), and what resolution/framerate you're targeting. For example, let's say you want to play Cyberpunk 2077. At 1920x1080 with medium settings, a 13600K can push 178 FPS average using an RTX 4090, whereas a 13400 can "only" achieve 163. But an RTX 3070 paired with a 5950X is going to give 100 FPS average at 1920x1080 with high settings. So the 13400 is more than able to keep up in that game and the margin between it and the 13600K will probably be pretty slim. But in something like CS: GO you'll probably see more of a difference since the GPU is doing a lot less work in that case. Whether that's worth the extra money is up to you. IMO I'd consider what you use your computer for outside of gaming to determine whether there's a point buying a higher end CPU, otherwise devote the extra cash to the graphics card. Unless you're already rocking a 3090 or something, lol.
