Been looking for one of these and this is the cheapest so far delivered. This is better than the locally delivered model as it comes with the S4 1.5Ghz dual core CPU which is actually faster than the S3 1.7Ghz CPU on the Aus delivered model.s

Good phone, but I rather get the S3 for $100 more. S3 has better battery life, microsd slot, removable battery, higher res and bigger screen, better custom rom support.

Also this phone isn't directly comparable to the S3 (other than the S4 cpu faring better in some tests),the correct HTC comparison would be the One X.
The one X is about $70 more. I would rather get that.

They're both high-end android devices, that's why I'd compare them.
This One S uses AMOLED Pentile screen (lame) and resolution is not even HD.
Pay a bit more and get a One X.

It's only slightly smaller. PPI is much worse.
I've been trying to score an affordable z520e One S for ages now. This is a pretty good price point for it. I know the Galaxy is just a few more dollars but my desire for the One S is more for the aesthetics than the specs.
Problem is, a spanner was thrown into the works when HTC released the S3 powered version in asia, including here. Now grey market importers are mostly stocking that version.
I've actually been waiting for mobicity to have the black one in stock for some time now, because I get the impression that they're a more reputable seller with decent after sales warranty support.
Have any of you bought from Duty Free Central before? Are they legit and trustworthy?
No SD Card Slot, no deal for me.
Although I appreciate HTC's GPS chip they use, very fast.
