Eb70 is properly cheap with ebay code. $720~.

EB200p is available on their official website for $1999.

this was down to $1700 a few weeks ago secondary to their autumn camping sale + ebay discount code. decided not to buy tho as would prefer the ac200max for app integration, as that may come in very handing switching on and off ac power remotely

EB3A for $400 via this listing which they seem to not have jacked up - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/404204022215

All the other jacked listing bring it to the regular 499 price

“Great for the upcoming grid collapse” - Wrong site mate this is OZbargain not SAbargain .

    • Like the Jeep ad, the kid will say you will need a bigger battery

    • Just to confirm for the negs - in SA I’m talking about South Africa not South Australia…..

These were $1999, then $300 off just 2 days ago. I didnt buy, as it was the first day I looked (and assumed it was the normal base price).

Might be still another listing on Ebay??

Was looking at this for the parents van (as it seems to be one of the few LiPo units that has as 30A 12v output).

Anyone recommend anything better for a Van setup, that you can also use on a dedicated circuit at home?

Ie. They can use it to power their chest freezer
etc while at home. Basically make use of the van solar system while it's just sitting at home.

Give you a slightly better ROI.

    • Build your own battery box with inverter to match your required spec

      • Doing the maths, a charger, inverter, MPPT controller and DC to DC converter would cost just as much.

I'm thinking of going with the smaller Bluetti (700w nominal output) for around $650, plus the Aldi 1.2kwh LiPO4 battery for $449.

        • DIY may cost just as much or more, but you can get better overall quality components and don’t need to throw out the lot if one piece fails.

You can also leave out some parts depending on needs. I didn’t worry about DC-DC for my setup because I don’t need it. Others might not need AC charger etc.

Pros and cons to each option but for a permanent install in van I think piecemeal makes more sense.

          • @watts: Fair points, especially points of failure. Had there been Bluetti failures?

On the other side, tidy and easy portability would be handy.

            Piecemeal?

  • I’ll add in here the bluetti stuff on YouTube gets rave reviews. Highest quality inverter etc.

I want one but just can justify the need.

Very disappointed with Bluetti. They jacked their sale prices on eBay after the 20% off vouchers came out. I politely quizzed them on FB in the Bluetti users group (with screenshots) and my post was denied, now I can't access the group. They contacted me to sort it out, but it seems their eBay store contacts have weekends off, which is fine except the sale ends today. Great products I'm sure, but questionable business practices.

Yeah I was hoping to get the extra discount but like you said they jacked it up so it cancels out

Jacked up prices are back down to original prices after the sale ended.

They jacked up the prices by exactly 20% and started eBay 20% off sale. Not a good business practice.
