The Good Guys are clearing stock…
No more 8K’s or 60 inch models available.
I own a 70 inch and it’s been an amazing television at this price range.

I did my research, looked at all options important to my needs to find the best value TV… And from a heritage brand.

SHARP televisions re-entered the Australian market last year through an appointed exclusive distributor (Tempo).

These televisions are 100% Sharp products, not 're-badged' Chinese products like other well known brands: Phillips, Toshiba, Hitachi, JVC, AKAI, TEAC, Seiki, etc.

SHARP are owned by Taiwanese assembly and microchip components company Foxconn, which happens to be the world’s biggest technology company.

Beware of HD FHD 4K specifications according to the size and model.

  • Yes. 32” is Full Definition. 42” is High Definition and 70” is Ultra Definition (4K).

    • Damn. I was about to jump at the 42" thinking it was 4K and it was a bargain. I have an under staircase space for the existing TV that just fits a 42" and nothing bigger.

    • Other way around for the 32 and 42
The 32 is HD (1365x768) and the 42 is FHD (1920X1080)

  • I'm not entirely happy with the picture quality. Does anyone have any advanced tuning guides?

    • Try some of the you tube clips for setting contrast and brightness. Made a big improvement on my sharp 60" from earlier deal. Set to movie mode and warm colour then do the contrast and brightness.
