Yeah it has a M.2 NVME slot plus mounting for one 3.5 inch HDD and a slim DVD. There is one spare sata port on the motherboard but a second 3.5 inch won't fit without removing the internal CPU shroud. In theory 2xSSD + 1xNvME would fit without any case modifications required
Note that you'll need a sata power splitter (~$4) to power the additional drive

I still use a much older 800 G1 model for ESXi with 32GB RAM and still runs fine with 5 VM's. Decent PC's and include Intel vPro support for remote access using the likes of Mesh commander.
Does anyone know if the mobos inside these SFF G4s take standard CPU & mobo PSU connectors?
Motherboard power is via a 4 pin (12v) plug.
Only downside is the additional, external need for a power brick
So does it mean we need to buy a separate power brick?
