It really is'nt…with this number of buttons it looks like it is an alternative for a full sized keyboard.
As to what it is - not how it works. You have to work that out yourself.
I've been looking at buying a wheel for my computer, but I think this one is well on the side of complete overkill :P

I'm a forza guy too, but finding a good wheel for the xbox that isn't priced over $500 isn't easy :( PC racers just don't compare to Forza and Gran Turismo. (Not a fan of rfactor, iracing etc.)
The Gran Turismo version of the Playseat in the other post is $443 delivered!

I currently have the G27 and this looks awesome to me.
Even if it is the most complicated steering wheel in the world…I can see the cruise control and the audio controls but what are all the rest of them for?

Looking into it, this is a different product as in it's just the wheel addon for the T500, not the actual T500 itself.
If you have a normal T500 (http://www.amazon.de/Thrustmaster-T500-Lenkrad-für-PS3/dp/B004GNG2MW/ ), you can buy this as a replacement wheel for it.
I thought it was the same product at first too, at a glance you'd sure think it was. Easy enough mistake to make.
