Freezer?!
What happen when you grind a frozen/defrost bean? Just curiosity as I never done it before
I have read it's 'fine' to do so.. Won't damage the grinder etc… But i'm just getting into diy coffee so don't have much skin in the game yet

You can, I did not like it, as soon as the beans come out they defrost and get water on them.
Some people actually spray water on the beans to avoid static lol
I won't buy 2 kilos just to save money on the beans, mainly because I don't have enough space in freezer and I don't want to break my grinder 😂
If you vacuum seal when you put them in the freezer, then there’s no air in the container, which means there’s no moisture that can then defrost and ruin the beans.
If you had moisture, you either:
1. Didn’t vacuum seal your beans (and just put the bag straight in the freezer); or
2. Didn’t properly vacuum seal the canister.

I usually like medium roast as i don't like too bitter, will this darker batch too bitter for me? Anyone tried before? Don't want to waste 2kg
