27" @ 1080p. Absolutely disgusting. Don't buy this if you value anything good in this world.

    • I've had one and it's seriously pixelated images when 1080p gets stretched to 27". Could have 1000Hz won't make a difference when it's ugly af.

I think in esports games, the resolution won't matter as much as the high refresh rate.
But in everyday use and other "cinematic" games, it'll look bad.

    • aside from that though, seems like a pretty great deal for 240hz in australia, no?

I'm not in the market for another monitor right now, but to anyone buying: this RRP is incredibly bloated.
For $650 you can get 27" 1440p monitors using IPS instead of a curved Quantum Dot VA panel at 1080p, and still get one designed for gaming with high refresh rates and moderate-to-decent HDR.

For $299, it's starting to look a lot more competitive but make sure you check the reviews if you can't see it in person. The best tech details don't always mean the best display

    • hey @jengel,
Are you able to give me an example of a 27 or 32 inch that would be better suited than this? Tried doing some research but i don't know all the tech specs.

      Cheers

        • ^^This is precisely what I have, and I would thoroughly recommend it

  • 4k. Once you get it even at 60fps. Going down to 1080p is trash

1080p is great… As long as it's a 24-25 inch monitor. Can't imagine playing competitive tac shooters with anything else. I don't know if I can go back to low refresh rate monitors now though.

    • to me 1080p@high refresh vs 4k@60/75hz is like sh1t flavor chocolate vs chocolate flavor sh1t.

      I wouldn't bite on either.

it have to be more than 1080p, and have to be over 100hz. BOTH need to be satisfied.

have to be something like 2k144/2k240/4k144

1440@100hz+ is the sweet spot atm
