XBOX Game Pass Keys for Ultimate (maybe using Live/Gold Keys & converting etc) for 1-3+ years (maybe using Stacked/Multiples?)

Hello,

TL : DR - Can you please suggest some of the best current deals so that I can Re-Activate my Existing Account / XBOX membership.

BTW - search below for 'Question - there is one thing I was hoping you guys could answer at least?' If you can answer that question down in the comments that'd be great !

In the end I want it to be an Ultimate account - but that could be done by buying one Key or Stacking Multiple Live/Gold Keys and then converting to Ultimate.
I don't own a console; use it on PC ONLY, but still want Ultimate ok.

I want at least 1 Year, but maybe up to 3+ Years.
XBOX Keys for Ultimate (maybe using Live/Gold Keys then converting etc) for 1-3+ years (maybe using Stacked/Multiples?).

I had previously written a thread on the deal I had used over a year ago now - however I am obviously looking for more recent. slightly different info, and any better deals.

I'm looking for genuine posts that are on topic; and actually helpful for people who come to this thread looking for useful info.
If you have nothing helpful to add - please don't.

I've used Eneba before but have seen people list other sites too - so open to whatever.

But would be great if you'd talk about your past experiences with the site you talk about as I am concerned about reliability (worried about issues / things not working out)
If you aren't posting a specific deal - tell me what sites you think are good/bad for this stuff?

I have researched this a lot; but I'm curious to see what others suggest as the best deals/sites for this task.
More importantly - I'm keen to find out which deals have worked successfully recently etc; as well as those to avoid.

I didn't want to post the few particular deals I'm thinking about; as people will tend to only focus on them instead of making other suggestions which I may not have seen, and which might be even better.

I've read comments from last December saying that you should be careful with some stackable keys - as they are supposedly slowly starting to crack down on them and some may be deleted (apparently - the keys - but not the accounts?).
So info on that would be super helpful!

For any deals you post - I'd really really appreciate very very detailed instructions specifically for Re-Activating an Existing Account (and making sure prices/fees are for that specifically). I ask this as I'm worried I'm going to get something wrong, and blow all that cash for nothing !

BTW can someone please add these tags (why can't I add them in the form?)
XBOX Ultimate Live Gold Stackable Stack Existing Inactive Key Game Pass PC - and whatever else you think would help?

Thank you for your help

PS - an unimportant; very skippable aside…

To the two overly earnest little tattle tales who reported my thread as a duplicate - it's clearly not the case.

The thread I had written last December - was about renewing an Active account.
However, as most of these kind of deals don't seem to work well for renewing Active accounts - as a result; I didn't get many responses.

Based on what I had read/heard - I instead chose to hold off on trying to renew until my account had finally lapsed. Thus this current thread.

This is about Renewing Inactive Accounts, and with the addition of asking about Stackable Keys - which I hadn't heard of until now, and concerns about them changing the rules etc etc.

Also, that previous thread was already locked long ago.

If mods want to delete the thread I mentioned above; go ahead.
I tried but found I don't have that ability.

Cheers.

    Re-Activating an Existing Account

Same way you did it last time?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/560256

    • Yeah….but could you spoon feed the info even more?

      • +2

To be fair… the forum search function is not quite as intuitive as a front and centre google search box.. can see where the confusion arises…

        • Thank you.

However, it's not so much confusion… the problem is threads are listed as expired when they're not, and/or they still work but the prices are quite different from the thread listings etc.

You might be looking for live, gold, ultimate, 3 month, 12 month etc etc etc it goes on.
So many variations/ways to find what you want but you have to wade through them all…

Makes sense to just ask for what you want, and see if anyone has used something recently that fits the bill.

      • If you've read comments on xbox deal pages and similar; you will know that one wrong step and all you're money is gone.

I've not got much experience with these kinds of things and so I am wary.

    • Which was only 4 months ago, so I doubt they even bothered with it then

      • Waaay back then the account was not LAPSED this post lacks the SPECIFIC DETAIL pertaining to status of the EXISTING ACCOUNT

        3…2…1

        • dude you are wasting your life.

If you mean when I asked about this back a ways - I was advised to wait until now.

    • I have since added this above due to your erm…. brilliant post…..

I wrote a thread on the deal I used a year ago - however I am obviously looking for more recent info and any better deals.

I shouldn't even have had to write this - it should be obvious to anyone with basic common sense.
I don't know why there are so many people on forums who only post to attack people.

To you and others like you - go get a hobby, maybe leave the house and interact with actual live humans once and a while; and above all - learn to chill out.

        • You just made my point - did you even bother looking at the results - utterly useless. Very little has anything to do with game pass subs.
And even the ones that do, most are expired, and you have to waste forever wading through all the junk for something good/active.

            @RahRahRand:

and you have to waste forever wading through all the junk for something good/active.

Yeah, that's why you have to do some form of research yourself, not expect to be spoon-fed

How about coming here like "so the best I could find was XX for $$, anyone seen any better lately" rather than showing signs of doing zero looking.

Simple result is that if your membership has run out, you buy 2.5yrs worth of gold, then pay for 1 month of ultimate and it will convert all the gold to ultimate.

So go search online for cheap xbox live gold memberships and report back what you find.

I don't know why there are so many people on forums who only post to attack people.

I dont know why there are so many people on forums who dont do basic search, provide details of what they might have tried or found first and need additional help understanding or elaborating on, and expect people to just spoon feed them info

it seems all the angry little 9 year old boys are online tonite.

        • Third spoon reference

  • I need to do this soon too. I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't closed this loophole method already. Maybe they are leaving it open on purpose.

    • this is exactly why I'm asking here - to find out from folks who have recently tried it successfully or had it fail badly.

Either way - it's good to know.

      • I'd recommend maxing the offer out, all three years, as soon as your current Gamepass expires. In case Microsoft alters the deal further and we have to pay full price.

        • that's the plan - but I had read a deal from last year where the last poster said they'd had some of their keys fail and thought it was due to the loop closing?

          • @RahRahRand: Mine doesn't expire until tomorrow, it's been three years, so I'll worry about it then.

      • Well, damn. Comments there are saying it's already over and the only conversion is 1yr of Gold for 4 months of Ultimate. That's not good.

        • Ah bugger

Oh good just checked and I'm sorted till 01/25 šŸ˜

      • But that's only the $1 one month trial right - that's not that big a deal for the kind of thing I need is it?
My understanding is I'd likely need to pay the $15.95 as an inactive account anyway?

The 1 year to 4 months thing - are you sure that's not just when someone does it in the wrong order or something?
Or if they use it on an active account etc?

  • Hey - how come my replies don't always go directly under the person I'm replying too?
It's weird, half the time it does, other times it just doesn't do it right?

    • +1

      Because you're not clicking "reply".

  • I swear I did - otherwise it wouldn't have worked at all ?

    • You obviously didn't.

    • Though you're not the only one who has done this, so I think there might be a UX issue with the site design making people not realise how the UI is meant to work. So you did it but I don't think it's entirely your fault.

      • it's still doing it, half the time it goes where it should, the rest just wander off…

        • Anyway, where did your search take you, did you find 12 month Gold cards for about $50? Or six month Gold even?

          • @AustriaBargain: Hi,

For now 12 months for around $50 is right. I had seen some stackable deals which were way cheaper in the past - but I can't find any that are still that cheap/still in stock etc.

I've recently added to the OP - that, "I didn't want to post the few particular deals I'm thinking about [yet]; as people will tend to only focus on them instead of making other suggestions which I may not have seen, and which might be even better."

So I want to see what responses I get over the next few days first before I decide what to go with.

However, if the deals I'm already thinking of do turn out to be the best - I'll probably post them here later.

Ideally I'm looking for the cheapest for the full 3 years (max right?).
If I can do that; while avoiding stacking - that would be ideal as I am a little worried about the extra risk - but still open to it as an option.

            cheers

            • @RahRahRand: Whatever you do you should do it fast, if it still works at all then it might stop working at any moment. Keep in mind to turn off auto renew to stop getting the extra free month or you'll need to wait a month before adding the final year, a month where MS might alter the deal further. I don't know how you'd get around the $1 month.

              • @AustriaBargain: thanks, yeah i'll remember that.

Like I said above - I think I'll just have to pay $15.95 for the first month instead?
Not entirely sure - anyone know?

                cheers

    NQR

  • I stacked 3 years worth of 1 month trials when I first found out about it 2 or so years ago. Found the easiest method was with using a Pixel phone and Google Lens. It can detect text and you can copy it then have it sent to the paste buffer on a linked Google Chrome browser, so was literally scan on phone -> paste on PC -> redeem on PC -> repeat.

Though when I was doing it, there must have been some redeem rate throttling, because I could only do maybe 5-10 at a time before I needed to wait 5-10 minutes before continuing.

    Any actual deals or tips?

(e.g. not just endless off-topic, pointless trolling?)

  • =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Question - there is one thing I was hoping you guys could answer at least?
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

    It's an issue of timing.

Do you have just under 24 hours; to apply a second/or more extra keys (to extend your membership)… before it starts thinking your account is now active (and thefore might start screwing up the extra credit you try to apply after the first one - eg giving you x months instead of 1 year etc?)

Assuming my account is inactive to start…

So if I applied one Key that would both Re-Activate and give my account 1 year of membership…

If I applied that on Saturday at 12.45pm, if I wanted to apply 2x extra 1 Year Keys to make it 3 Years all up…
Would it be fine as long as I did that before Sunday at 12.45pm?

But I'm assuming - if I tried to apply those 2x extra Keys after the latter time/date; that that is when it would start screwing with how much actual time/credit it would give you e.g giving you much less cause it considers you as having an *Active account?

Or is it not about being 24 hours - but something else that matters?

That's what I'd love to know.

    Cheers.

Does anyone know about the Applying Multiple Keys / Timing issues (post / Question - directly above this post) ?

    Thank you for your help
