Have two. Think I paid $169. They’re pretty good. Happy with them just wish the charger wasn’t proprietary and magnetic.

    • It's micro USB so I'd imagine it can be charged with whatever, you just need a micro USB cable. No?

      • Unsure if updated but the one I have is not microusb. It’s a proprietary magnetic charger.

        • Probably you're right. I thought I've read micro USB somewhere but doing some search looks like it's a proprietary cable indeed.

        • yep confirming it has the magnetic one - just received it today

Thats a bit of a bummer but I see there's 3rd party knock off cables available on amazon and ebay so it should be easy and cheap to replace

It’s more of a tweet tweet

    • Probably not great, personally I'd use it mainly for listening to the GPS voice navigation or maybe some low volume music so I'm not looking for anything amazing sound wise

If only there was better way to listen to music while wearing a helmet.

    • i think they are called headphones… :P

      • The work of which craft they are. 🙃

The one thing that is supposed to protect you during a ride is distracting you at the same time.

So I guess you always keep your radio shut while you're driving, uh?

      • I always keep the car radio at low volume I guess. Let's put it this way, I don't have a speaker next to my ears or I don't wear earbuds when driving.

Shame the f***knuckle that drives pass my apartment blasting so called music through shitty car sound system doesn't understand how much a distraction that is to their driving. But i guess if you are driving a shitbox you won't care if you ding it because of the accident one causes.

        • so it's the same.. as long as one keeps it low enough it's all good, right?
Anyway, this helmet is much safer than using headhpones, thats' for sure. You can still easily hear outside noise

  • I wonder who the indicator/brake lights are intended for? I wouldn't trust a car driver to notice or process such lights.

Similarly any helmet playing music that reduces spatial hearing awareness is just asking for trouble should the rider be sharing a carriage way with cars/trucks. We know a person run over by a truck on an early morning jog using headphones

    • when it's dark, it's far better a light indicator than showing your arm, unless you have a big reflecting vest with long sleeves maybe. Brake light is a plus. Between having it or not, it's better to have it at all circumstances

For music, its' better than headphones and one should keep the volume low - it's no different than the audio system in your car, if you put it too loud it will reduce safety. If one chooses to listen it loud that their choice and should assume the risks of it.

  • Just arrived today - bit disappointed with the size, feels quite small on my head. Hopefully it will give a little bit with use.
