  Long story short, the parts that really matters (the camera and sensor) are all manufactured by 2 companies. So you can pay $500 for a branded dash cam or $100 for a unbranded one, and the chances are that they are using the same camera. Essentially all dash cams cameras aren't that great. Essentially the difference you are paying for in dash cams is the software.

    Try Voifo A129 or A119 whichever you prefer. I have been using it for a couple of years. Very solid Dashcam.

  This was the highest recommended dashcam in CHOICE magazine, issue 2023.
  You can access CHOICE using the Flipster App based on the previous posts in OzBargain, from the memory.
  OzBargain's favourite Viofo A129 Plus was also reviewed in that pile and ranked 6th in the recommended list.
