5%. better than nothing, but otherwise meh

    • +4

      Seconded - Meh

    • +1

      Generous gift lol.

Free $4.50 I guess if buying stuff from Amazon anyway.

    • +1

Amazon discounts are meh overall, but their prices are pretty competitive if you buy when they price match others, so treat like an extra 5% on those prices

  • +4

    Not too exciting

  • +8

    This is better in %

    • Hassle going through all that every time want to purchase, but got the Superswap before when 28d promo was on for a free $50.

  • +1

If you want to reuse the recent eBay 8$ cashback then it's good lol

  • +1

We are used to 10%, thanks anyway!

  • -4

    Meh, Na not needed thanks

  • Nah, but thanks

  • -2

10% or pass. locking my money in with a vendor should at least beat the return I could get locking it in a high interest account.

    • +4

Unless you’re planning on not spending the gift cards for over a year then a 5% discount is going to give you a better return than your high interest account.

      • -2

I have a few hundred $ of 10% discounted cards sitting in my prime account. they don't last a year but they can sit for a while.

    • where do you get 10% cards

      • +3

Aldi did a 10% off and occasionally the monthly $3 cashback on $30 gift card spend from Cashrewards

        • Aldi deal was very good but it never came back again … !

  • -8

Echoing another user, there is zero reason to get this when there's this - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/766020

    • What if you already got the other one and want more?

      • -3

No one's stopping you from doing anything you want mate. But if you're a true ozbargainer, you'd wait until a better deal comes along.

        • -1

lol who waits on here - it's the definition of impulsive shopping.

          • @G-rig: This is ozbargain, where people have patience and cunning to wait to pounce on a deal, not ozimmature, where there is a lack of self control and prone to impulsive buying.

      • +1

Btw it's not hard to create another account to buy more gift cards from Prezzee if you really want them. The purchase limit is really a non-issue.

Understand many people not getting excited over 5%, but For people that spend hundreds of dollars / month on amazon like me, 5% is a good deal. I have to buy most of my Amazon gc at 2% via ShopBack.
10-15% amazon deals are few and far between. Amazon is by far the rarest gift card to get good deals on. Yes there are deals every week for $30, or $100 but nothing to really load up high $ value with. The last decent deal was Aldi selling physical gc, but even then $500 was the most you could buy.

Waiting for new Suncorp rewards to launch (if it ever comes) just so we can go back to 3% discount!

      • +4

Given up on Suncorp. 2 years late and no signs of ever launching

        • +2

I spoke with the CEO at a community event in Brisbane a few weeks ago and asked. He told me it was supposed to launch in Dec 2022 and doesn’t know when it will relaunch but it would be ‘soon’. Not holding my breath either.

I buy 3% off Amazon gift card from Macquarie Bank Marketplace whenever I need. With this extra 2%, I may just hold off.

    • Any payment fee with Macquarie? HSBC instant savings also 3% but has 1.25% payment fee which kills it

      • +1

No fee, you can also buy custom amount up to $2000.

Compared this extra 2% and my mortgage >5% now, and already have a couple hundreds credit in my Amazon amount from previous deals. So better park my $ in offset account and no need for me to buy this time. This is what I mean in my 1st comment. If you need it now, extra % is extra %.

  • +5

Max limit for me was 2 $100 cards, not 3 as indicated by op

    • i think there is a superseding limit of how many $$ of amazon gift card a user can buy from SB in a month

      • It's a new month so shouldn't be any. Either way haven't bought Amazon gift card in over a month as I normally use Macquarie for 3%

      • I wondered the same but haven't bought Amazon gift cards since mid Feb. Still limited to 2

    • same

    • +2

I have updated the title. Fine print still says 3.

  • Says maximum 3 but I was only able to purchase 2.

  • says deal limited to 1 purchase?

  • 3 GCs reduced to 2 per customer?

  • Should it show up as %5 in the app when buying GC? still shows as 2% for me.

    • +1

It's under "Promos" in the gift card section.

  • +1

    Reduce to 1 purchase now?

    • I just bought 2

    • yes only 1 for me as well

  • can only purchase 1 now…juz bought.

  • Already expired? Can't find the deal..

    • Go to the gift cards section, then promos
