recently bought Lenovo XT88 from AliExpress, just going to say the sound quality is pretty bad, real muddy bass, no instrument separation.
Fit pretty nicely in my ear, so just going to use it for gym.

I got the XT88 too. I think they sound decent, especially at the price point (i'm comparing it other BT earphones not iems or headphones). My gripes are the case has a 90 degree hinge that makes it hard to take the earphones out. The lid also wiggles around because of loose fit and when this happens it thinks you have taken it out of the case. The "connected/disconnected" voice over is at max volume, not good if youre wearing them.

  • I have a pair of the LP40's paid 13.67$.
They are surprisingly good; long battery life, decent audio quality (i just listen to podcasts), and they actually turn on and auto connect when i take them out of the case which is nice.

    • The Lenovo LP40 Pro Earphone (newer model) are a little less than that at the moment. I have been very surprised at the music sound quality, particularly the bass for an in ear headphone. I haven't used them for phone calls in a noisy environment which is apparently a major test.

  • Thinking of giving the Lenovo LP40 Pro a go. Just a bit more expensive than this one, same seller. Anyone know which is better, LP40 pro or this XT92? Will be using it it mainly for calls, not gaming.

  • A word of caution, I got a set of LP40 about 18 months ago, and although they were quite good I have not used them for about 1 year and just tried to charge up the case but it is not accepting charge (no light)

I've had active 3D TV glasses that also suffer the same fate after remaining discharged for a long period. Protection circuitry must kick in and not allow charge after a deep discharge.

Moral…. keep the case charged at least every few months.
