  • Wow. $53.10 was the eBay price for physical game everyone was raving about, so this is pretty good for eStore.

    • Just got a Switch for my boy. Why should I care about physical vs eStore?

Few perks of physical - some people like to collect games and display them, they also have resell value (eStore games have zero) and they don’t take up space as the physical cartridge holds most of the data, besides the updates.

Why is eStore better for some? Option to download and go several games at once without the need for cartridges, quick switch between games all from the Home Screen.

I was a cartridge man myself, but found over the years you can’t beat not having to get up and fuss around with them to play different games.

        • For first party games like Mario etc I tend to buy cartridge as they’ll hold their resell.
For third party ones I buy e-store to avoid having to swap out and also because their value isn’t as good

        • Many thanks

Why should I care about physical vs eStore?

Why should we care about convincing you one way out the other?

Oh sweet Summer child, where did the bad men hurt you?

Highly recommend Super Mario 3D World if you haven't played before on Wii U, Bowser’s Fury is a great addition.

Tropical Freeze is a solid game as well, but hard to recommend at that price given it's a nearly 10 year old game they ported from the Wii U.

I'd only recommend Yoshi’s Crafted World for younger players or people who don't have as much experience with platformers.

  • so the cheapest option is to buy discount Nintendo cards then buy these right - currently I can see 10% off JB gift cards via Shopback .. I can use those to buy Nintendo cards right?
