A solid $100 cheaper than bricks and mortar or any other store I can find. the elusive jigsaw is the final piece to my bosch blue puzzle (there's more but its the piece I want) alas I'm still to cheap to buy it even at this price..

  Might be worth mentioning that is an US import so you maybe only restricted to Amazon warranty .

        Don't trust the generic listing spec sheets. If you go to the Bosch website you'll see it isn't brushless. This is the brushless model.

        Being brushless is a selling point so it'll be clearly labelled on the tool itself.

        It might say that but I have this item, and it isn't. There is a new brushless model, discreetly released not long ago, if it was this price I'd have it too. That said, the one I have has been used most days over the last 10 years and hasn't skipped a beat. I've cut a lot of 40mm pine and (to a lesser degree) custom wood with it.

      isn't it main more useful for drills for more torque?
