        Consoles are just better, its like cd's vs vinyl, yes cd's are technically way better quality than vinyl, but they just lack that soul that give you that warm fuzzy feeling while playing to them, that is the difference between pc and consoles

            As a fisherman at heart.

            Consoles are your relaxing inner coaster waters/ponds. Relaxing fun easy going but also exciting.

            PC'S are your deepwater marlin fishing requiring more effort to set run. And brain power. But always lands you the bigger fish ..

            @schwifty: yeah i don't think you got the analogy, in no way shape or form did i imply or do i think that graphically and performance wise that a console can compare to a pc, but pc has no soul, graphics are not what define quality, not for me anyway, pc's are cold, consoles are warm and loving, sitting on the couch chilling in the living room, or lazily laying in bed, not sitting at a desk, pc will always have better specs, but it is just missing that feeling

              @Qazxswec: Oh I got it and I don't think you realise that a pc doesn't need to be at a desk I have one in the lounge room for gaming that I use daily. I also have a hand held portable one that I take with me. My pc definitely has a some I know this cause I put it in her when I built it myself something you don't get with a console so you wouldn't know if it has one or not you just went to kmart and bought it off a shelf

          Consoles this gen are really great and the first time where graphics are on par with most pc games but the cd vs vinyl comparison is weird.

            @Therage: Consoles are always on par as pc on the first two years. That's how they've always worked, they are extremely good hardware for their price. Ps2 and ps3 were especially well known as they were such complicated devices, they could be used as super computers.

            But you know, locked hardware means they fall behind pc for 5 years after that.

            @sickaunt: PC is getting better at that. I have mine in my office and stream it to my loungeroom. That said it's sometimes not the smoothest experience e.g when windows UAC pops up and I have to go to the office to close it.

        I'm the opposite, I caved in and built my itx PC as everyone kept telling me how good PC gaming is… Since I built it in Jan. I've turned it on twice or thrice. Ps5 gets used weekly or more

      This bundle is around a game that will likely (based on previous versions) be more fun to play on PC. I love my switch and I periodically consider an Xbox or PlayStation for access to their platform flagship games and I’m quite keen on playing D4 - but the franchise has always excelled on PC.

        This Xbox is half arsed.

        They just slapped it with a game and then called it a bundle.
        At least they could have had a themed controller or something to make it stand out.

              People at the top won't want to group with you. The only way to catch up is to do the higher levels. You'll get further and further behind.

              If you are in a good group/clan or whatever then maybe people can carry you and help you catch up. If you're not, then it's really really hard.

                      @j1nx: Some people that even don't necessarily want to be at the top might say, I want to finish top 1000 this season. People like to set goals otherwise in a game like Diablo, it just ends up being a little bit of a pointless grind.

                      It's the same with everything. It'd be like having a marathon and saying you want to finish in the top 1000 this year. If you pay an extra 40 dollars for your entry fee you get to start the race 20 mins earlier than others. It's just not fair.

                          @j1nx: I'm all for companies trying to make money by adding cosmetics or like a special figurine or whatever that you may need to redeem. I'm sure most people are fine with it.

                          It's just the pay to win mechanics that are creeping into everything that everyone hate so much.

                          I did a bit more digging and it looks like the 1st season doesn't start for a few weeks after launch so the 4 days won't affect the leaderboards. I'm pretty sure the rest of the bonuses for the higher tiers are purely cosmetic. I guess Blizzard learnt something from the feedback from Immortal.

    I know it's disappointing that there is no special themed console here but it's not like Sony is doing anything special with their PS5 Horizon Forbidden West or God of War bundles either.

    It seems only Nintendo is focusing on special themed consoles but then they don't come with any games.

        I guess what I'm trying to say is that everyone here is giving MS a hard time but Sony does the same. And to be honest, these bundles are priced at full RRP for both the console and the game. If you can get a discount on the game, these bundles are not worth it.

      You mean the beta version which is still months off release?
      Why do you think they run these betas, apart from server stressing?

      I played both betas and found it pretty good, no game breaking bugs. While I'm sure others found issues, they would have been documented and so would be fixed before release.

        It isn't buggy. It is the gameplay. Barbarian combos are broken, Mage is too OP but the fun mechanics are also off. The skill tree building feels driven by the developers isn't of something fun and organic. It is the combat mechanics that make Diablo games, if they are broken no one is going to grind for 100s of hours in it for loot.

        I want the Diablo game to be the best ever, just seems that coming up to release, it isn't going to be ready, some of this stuff can't be fixed in 3 or so months.
