  • Thank you!

  • Amazon.de (and anything from Europe) is looking more and more attractive everyday, with the way the Euro v AUD is heading > http://yhoo.it/9TRLDC

    • Yup agree. I like buying from Amazon.de recently

until you need to make a warranty claim…

        • +4

From the amount I've saved in the past the odd warranty claim can be covered from just ordering a new product from amazon.de :D

an expensive toy for the missus lol

  • Pity the DC37 wouldn't ship to OZ - for the Animal version is was only 450Euro

    • shame… this is the one that I am after

      • I actually bought a DC39 animal from Masters for $638 on the weekend.. I used alwaysonsale.com.au as a price and then got them to price match it with 10% off ontop.. pretty straight forward really.. the lady didn't investigate any further than the printout that I had.. didn't call or anything..

Just as a comparson I looked up the dc37/39 animal on the spanish amazon, and it came to about $590 delivered.. So for an australian dc39 animal for $640 it was really a no-brainer.. 2 year warranty and no need to use a voltage adapter..

Hope this helps someone.. and I must say, the dyson really really does suck.. and suck well..

        • that is not a bad idea…
I can then get another 5% off at masters with the everyday gift cards, bringing it down to just over $600

        • +1

Good comments but you don't need a voltage adapter if you buy from Spanish amazon. you only need to change the plug or use a $2 plug adapter.

        • sorry, that's what i meant, a plug adapter..

    How's the blood pressure Gallifrey?

  • how do you guys buy from amazon.de , while the languages isn't english ?

    • Use Google Chrome, it will autotranslate the pages apart from the secure ones. Once you get into the secure pages, you will need to copy and paste into a translator such as Google Translate. I also open up an English speaking Amazon (Amazon.com, .co.uk) so I know what buttons do what. All the Amazon sites are setup in a similar fashion.

      • Thank You.

how do you guys fix this issue:

        Please note
Dyson DC29 Origin vacuum cleaner dB / 1400W / without bag can not be sent to the selected address.

        • You'd have to move to Germany to fix it.

That means that model can't be sent to Australia. Not sure why some can be sent here and some can't.

  • Brought a Dyson DC32 today…. Thanks for posting Gallifrey.
$355.60 inc postage that's a pretty sweet deal close enought to a $200 saving I'd reckon.

    • Bought same model as well. i guess, its the only dyson can ship to AUS

      • The DC24 can be shipped as well. See title in post.

    • i paid using 28degree, just show up about $343 ! good deal.

how long is the delivery? anyone know ?

      • Mine was sent last night expected delivey date is 15th of this month…. So hopefully about a week.
Gotta go find a power adapter now.

        • For that most shops will have them cheap (check Crazy Clark etc.). If you cannot find any in a shop there are hundreds on Ebay for a couple of dollars. Maybe get a multiple one which could come in handy for travelling, too.

        • Thanks Gallifrey got the Dyson last week & it's perfect.

For the adapter I brought this one & it seems to do the trick :)

          Thanks again for posting

        • I am happy to hear all went well and you are happy. Good job on finding the adaptor - that is not only useful for your vacuum but even when you travel to Europe.
          Glad I could help.

  • It seems Bosch price has gone down to ~$250 now…

  • I ordered the Bosch on Wednesday. Received it from UPS on Monday morning! Good find Gallifrey!

  • Good to hear all worked out fine. Have fun with your Bosch (I love Bosch as their products are good quality and have always lasted me at least a decade!).

  • Other Dyson vaccum models can be be shipped to OZ - please see the post I will post shortly.

    • Is there the Dyson Animal DC39? I'm looking to buy that one but it's around $760 in Australia
