Paint Damage at The Dealership

I took my car to the dealership for a service today and I've noticed some paint damage on the front panel of my car after the service. Unfortunately, the dealership denied the damage. They didnt take any before service photos and dash cam had been unplugged during the service. What can you do in this situation? Thanks

Do you have before & after dealership service appt vehicular photos, date & time stamped?

  • Are we talking the size of a pin head or we talking the size of a large pizza? Photos and context would help. What proof do you have the it was not there previous to the service? (Other than "I just know it wasn't")

There isn't a lot you can do unless you have some proof, like there was an issue elsewhere on the bumper that you showed the service advisor and the damage would have been noticeable OR you have dash cam footage of the mechanic driving your car into something.

  • front panel of my car

what part of the front panel?

    • Front bumper

Another useless thread, just like this one.

We need before and after service pictures.

If you have nothing nice to say, dont reply

Not how it works in real life.

You posted a question on a public forum, people can respond to it whether its "nice" or not.

Don't want potential not "nice" replies? don't ask questions on a public forum seeking advice.

        Cuts both ways.

      • You should be aware by now that the pagans on this site don't give a shit about your feelings!
You don't have anything to back up your claim , so next time take photos and have your evidence….

          And you should know!

      • I'm sorry. I'll try again.

You are a very lovely person and you made a wise choice purchasing a Mazda.

Would you please kindly upload photos from before and after the vehicle service so further direction can be provided.

        Have a pleasant evening.

        Kind regards

  • OK, so ASSUMING the OP's story is legit, what are their options, if any?

I guess they are going to be stuck with paying for the damage themselves. Then take your car to an independent mechanic from now on.

    • what are their options,

Deactivate account must be option #1
