  • Apogee Boom is much better in this price range.

    • Have you used both? On what basis do you feel the Apogee is better?

      • Agreed, lets dispense with one-sentence reviews

        • Well just based on specs and reviews I saw on YouTube. Nothing else.

      • I haven't used either (I have a Focusrite interface), but I think they both offer different things really. The Apogee has 2 inputs (1x XLR, 1x 1/4 inch), but it looks like you might have to control all of the settings via software - it seems to only have a single knob - probably for volume.

The Universal Audio one looks a bit more appealing to me. It only has 1 input, but it has midi in/out, separate headphone volume, and the different pre-amp mode .. plus wood sides :)

I think you get more bang for the buck with Focusrite or the Arturia Fuse, but if I were choosing between the Universal Audio or the Apogee, I'd pick the Universal Audio.

        But each to their own
