20% off Travel SIMs e.g. Europe Region eSIM 5GB One-Time No-Expiry $22.74 @ BNESIM

70
SELFLOVE

Was looking for an alternative to Flexiroam given they aren't discounting at the moment and came across this.

eSim that provides Data only. On the One-Time plan the data has no expiry date. So you can keep using it for trips until the data actually runs out.

The one I got was the 5GB Europe Region Plan (30 countries) One-Time for $28.43 ($22.74 using the SELFLOVE code)

It's not clear which networks it uses (looks like in the UK it uses 3, O2 and EE (which is the the merged T-mobile/Orange).

I'm travelling in May, so will update with how it goes, but thought this might benefit someone.

    I’m here for some SELFL0VE 😮‍💨

    • I think the idea is that you actually have to be alone for that

      • Instructions unclear. Now i been charged for indecent exposure.

Seems expensive, usually much cheaper to buy a SIM plan locally when you land, but these days it's likely also possible that you can activate a local a esim plan before you fly

In Asia definitely but not in France from what I found

      • Which part? Cheaper to buy on arrival or activate on arrival? Asking because i read some esims can't be activated until you actually arrive in the country (e.g. DTAC in Thailand).

This could be off topic but I recently used my Telstra prepaid overseas and I was pleasantly surprised how easy and reasonably priced it is.

I was able to make/receive calls using Telstra wifi calls without even purchasing the roaming pack.

Then using the mytelstra app I bought a 14 day pack for $25 that gives 4gb data and 50 minutes of calls and Sms etc.

There might be some cheaper options there but this was stress and hassle free.

  • Don’t forget to cancel or it will auto-renew

got a 25gb physical Europe o2 sim for $35 from eurosims, feel like that's much better value…you get a further 5gb in the UK on top

    • Unlimited eSIM in Europe and UK from same for same

  • Not much data but handy for multiple trips I guess. I got unlimited for 30 days in EU and UK from Orange for USD25 and 10GB in France for 30 days with Ubigi for $15. With referral you get 20% of and referrer gets 50% off next plan

Not shabby with the unlimited expiry, but local retailer makes sense because of the EU roaming laws.

Irrespective, if you're only looking for 5gb esim, Maya do 30 days Europe for $14USD ~10% cheaper at current prices.

esimdb.com is a great reference of all the esim providers and their offerings (plus has quite a few codes etc.)

    • with which provider? and can you renew if the data runs out early 0 just buy another 30 days?

  • Any Japan esim ?

Love turning my Vodafone on and it works. $5 a day well spent in the scheme of thousands spent on a vacation it’s negligible

  • I’ve seen esim getter more popular, but I have no clue how to load into phone.
Btw do we need to d/l app for it???

Appreciate if can advise how to use esim both iPhone and android phone

    • installing an esim just requires scanning a qr code and entering an activation code, then turning it on/off in your phone's settings

if you have multiple e/sims, you can choose individually/separately which to use for voice, data, sms/mms/imessage

  • Where do you input the code?
