  • Already done first shop. Stacked with targeted 2k for $70 spend. So 12k for $220.

    • -1

I got multiple activated bonuses before and I only received one bonus per buy. I assume they are not stackable, unlike WW

      • +4

Strange here… Flybuys seems stackable to me and WW not :)

      • +8

        Not true, all bonuses stack

        • +2

Good to know that they are stackable

Flybuy's points are not updated instantly for me and can take 2 days before showing up in the app. It's easy to forget and has no way to follow up as the offers and details disappeared once expired. Last time, I needed to take screenshots to chase up and contact them to get back the missing points. WW does a better job here. I can see discounts and bonuses etc at check out on WW online

      • +2

        received one bonus per buy

Depends whether the offer specifies redeemable once or undefined in the offers t&c.
Multiple offers stack and each bonus is listed separately under activity tab.

      • +1

        Confirmed - stacked.
Receipt shows wk1 of 4 wks of $50/wk qualified.
Activity shows 2000pts for $70 spend same day.

New offer of 2000pts for $70 spend (Sat-Tues) in email today!
Will spend in Wk2 on Mon.

Seems my 4x$50 for 10k pt will now be 4x$70 for 18k pt🎉
        Time to stock up.

    • +1

Did you also get the 20,000 flybuys offer? Mine says $150/week for 10,000 and $200/week to get 20,000. Coles has been getting my loyalty for about 10/12 months of the year due to these offers. We used to shop exclusively at Woolies before all these offers, their loyalty team should be getting pay rises and bonuses.

      • No, only 4x$50 for 10k, plus weekly 2k offers for $70. Rarely shop @Coles.

My weekly shop rarely exceeds $50.
Woolies 2k for $40 is my usual most weeks.

  • +6

Haven’t got anything for a while. Discriminated agian

    • As always, an empty offer page.

    • I have 3 cards. Last month 2 cards received the offer and 1 didn't. This month is the reverse. The one that didn't receive have now. Strange that this has started happening :(

  • +12

Means nothing is going on special for the next 4 weeks lol

  • +5

I have done this last month. Now the raised it to $60 per week for 10000 points but I'll pass this time to avoid the next is $70

    • +2

Honestly with how expensive living costs are it'll be a piece of cake to get this for some.

    • +2

I got the same offer. It's unusual to get the 10000pt/$50 offer so close to the previous one though so i just see it as a bonus if reach the minimum spends this time.

    • +1

Same here. Will not activate this time.

    • +3

      Same here.
$50 pw last month, now $60 pw for 4 weeks.
I've qualified for the first week.
I like the way that Coles notifies you on your receipt when you meet each week's target (they acted on my feedback), unlike Woolies.

      • +2

I don’t even get a receipt from woolies anymore it’s all in the app. The best part of woolies is points are instant, flybuys system is still prehistoric. Shame woolies deals suck

        • +3

Not just me then….my Woolies deals are ridiculous and I never ever shop there using the card. Single guy, and I have offers likez spend $200 in one shop for 1000 points are crap like that.
I've never spent more than $50 in one single shop….at either stores.

          • +2

@Spending2Much: Agree. Ww deals nothing compares with flybuys. Also we can activate fb deals then shop right away, for ww it days minimal few hours i think.
            Also fb dollars is good.

      • +1

Coles notifies you on your receipt

I have not seen this working for months and its endless frustration with Coles. Has not worked at all this year.

At least 50% of their promos have me contacting support to get the points.

The w/w system is so much more integrated, instantaneous and automated that u can't even compare the two. Worlds apart.

      • It shows in the woolworths rewards app

    • $60 is good since you'll get the full 3 MasterChef credits. $70 is stuck at 3 still, so $80 is next step up. $320 in 4 weeks for $50 back is starting to get meh.

      • 15.625% back on groceries is meh?!

  • Going overseas soon, any ideas on how to get this done without asking friends?

    • +1

      Ask me? 😎

    • +1

You'd ask friends to use your flybuys instead of using their own?

    • chatgpt

    • If you order delivery the payment doesn't go through until the day of delivery, so you can forward date your purchases in advance now to make sure you have orders each week to meet the criteria.

You could order sealed non-perishables (e.g. milk: https://www.coles.com.au/product/coles-australian-full-cream…) and ask a Neighbour to keep an eye out?

  • Thanks OP! I checked and I had 20K points for $120 spend over 4 weeks.

  • Yeah I got this, and stacked with a Spend $50 in one shop for 1000pts offer.

  • $70;for me

  • +1

$90 here, perhaps should spend less at Coles or get a new card….

  • I got 130/wk for 4 weeks for 20k points

    • -7

That’s an amazing deal! Kind of miraculous that Coles makes a profit at all given their generous customer rewards program and their razor-thin margins. In this cost of living crisis, we can count on Coles to help keep us afloat

      • +2

Nice to see you Mr Coles ceo

    • $130/wk for 10k points for me..

      $180/wk for 20k points

Time to make a new account and start using that so I can get offers that are easier to achieve. as I've basically given up on these offers

      • Me too. I have completed last month $50 *4 and get 10k points. And this month received this ridiculous offer..

  • -1

Is this even a good deal? Basically 25% off but you need to spend at least $200 to get it. I get 10% of woolies spending whatever and whenever I like

    • +6

It’s a good deal for those people who want to eat enough to not lose weight

    • +1

Good to stock up some longterm groceries.

WW currently also has spend $135 in week1 and week 2 get 5500 and x5 points for online shopping. Maybe targeted. If shop online first time, look for a code to save more something like $20 off $120 spending

      • Mine is spent $40 each week for 2000pts each week.

    • +1

I think it's a great deal as we spend way over $60 each week, so we're getting $50 back just for doing our normal shops for 4 weeks.

    • How to get 10% at WW

      • Be a WW Mobile or Insurance customer.

        • He said he gets 10% off whenever he likes so I assume he is a staff member. Insurance only gets you 10% discount once a month.

  • I don’t know what has happened but Flybuys hasn’t offered me these for at least a year. Before that I used to get them almost every month. Is this happening for someone else too? Is it possible I have unchecked something?

    • +7

You are now in a long-term relationship. Nothing to worry about, unless your eyes have been wandering in Woolies’ direction

    • Yep, after getting them every month last year I'm no longer getting the offers. I made $600 in points last year which super handy come Xmas time.

Fortunately the wife is getting offers so we're using her card. Otherwise we'd be off to Woolies and anything we'd use points on at Kmart we'd go to BigW for. Vote with your wallet.

      • Offers stopped coming through for me a few months back and I contacted Flybuys customer service through Messenger. They fix it and said it was becuae I unsubscribed from some of the promotional emails. I can't remember but I possibly did unsubscribe and just thought they would still come through the app.

        • Interesting. I did the same thing and this was the response I got.

Hi Morphio25, thanks for your message. Offers are prepared well in advance before they're sent out, and not every member will receive the same sort of offers. Offers can also vary in frequency as time goes on, and in some periods you may get less offers and in others you may get more. However, we thank you for your feedback and will ensure this gets passed onto the relevant teams. We're so sorry any disappointment!

    • Stop buying from Coles or stop making huge purchases. Keep it under $50-$60 and you will get the offers.

      • I have not been buying from them and going to Woolies since they have stopped. It’s been 2-3 months now but still nothing. It might be because i unsubscribed to some of their emails from memory as one user has points out above.

  • I guess purchasing gift cards is valid as well ?

That will be the easiest option to get instead of buying something not needed to make it 50.

    Edit :

$50 transaction excludes purchases of all gift cards, iTunes cards, charity items/ donations, tobacco and tobacco related products.

    • +5

If you're in Sydney, topping up your opal card at Coles counts (only available in select stores) and will allow you to get the bonus points

      • Can you share which select stores ?

        • Town Hall

          • +1

@beesider: Town hall doesn’t have a coles- there is a Woolies there.
Do you mean world square ?

        • World Square and Wynyard, go to the customer service counter near the checkouts. There are other stores too, pretty sure it's listed on a website somewhere.

        • +1

          Broadway too

      • +1

Just purchased a Opal card with $50 top up at Coles World Square it is eligible. Updated post

    • GC are generally excluded, but often effective. But probably not worth taking the chance for this offer.

  • +1

Second time in a row I've been discriminated against. That's despite only using my card once since missing out last time.

Fortunately the wife got an offer on her card, $80/wk for 10K otherwise we'd shop at Woolies. Just need to stop the MIL from spending our points once we earn them.

  • Is it per Flybuys card or per Flybuys account ?
I have 2 x Flybuys cards linked to a single Flybuys account.

    • +2

      Per account I presume.
I had 2 flybuys card linked as well, and points goes to the same account

    • +1

Per account. Much better to have separate accounts.

  • 2 accnts and nothing at all, Aldi/IGA until I get a good flybuys reason to go into Coles.

  • Umm, not targeted this time as I usually get $50 spend. Unfortunately purchasing Coles Mastercard this Wed must triggered my spending.

  • Does anyone know if it counts if you pay the weekly $50 transactions with flybuys points? Or do you have to pay with real money? As I've got plenty of leftover points transferred over from citi

    The T&C's are vague:

$50 or more must be spent in one transaction after all savings, discounts and vouchers each week for 4 consecutive weeks.

So do flybuys points count as savings, discounts or vouchers?

    • +3

I've never had a problem qualifying when paying with FB points.

      • +1

        Same here

    • +2

Yes you can pay any way you wish.

    • +2

If you convert your Flybuys points into Flybuys Dollars and them redeem the Flybuys Dollars in-person, it will count, as Coles treats Flybuys Dollars as a payment method.

If you opt to redeem 2,000 Flybuys points for an instant $10 discount (which I think is currently only available for Coles Financial Services customers), the $10 will not count, because Coles treats it as a discount (as this person found out the hard way).

If you are doing an online shop, I am not entirely sure, but I think it counts?

  • Mine is the same reward ($50 off or 10,000 points)
But terms are spend $180 for 4 consecutive weeks
    GGF

  • Two accounts and neither targeted

  • +1

Just an FYI - you can stack up to 6 offers (got a confirmation from the customer service representative from FB.

  • Much prefer cheaper competitive pricing rather than this purchase "kettling"
..But +1 for OP, I'm in

  • It's crazy how low some of your offers are. We are a big family so could only dream of spending $100 a week.

    My offer is spend 4 x $230 for 10,000 points or 4 x $280 for 20,000 points.

Interestingly, I also got a 10,000 points for this weekend, I think so they ensure we shop this weekend even though we don't need to to qualify

    • +2

Make a second flybuys account (since you're a big family then might need four accounts) and alternate between them. When the new one gets $50 offer, then use that only spend $50, do the rest of the transaction with your other card. Eventually you'll be able to get reasonable offers on each of the new accounts churn through the seperate cards with a $50 spend each week

      • Thanks, im not the original person you replied to, but I'm going to do this as mine are also very high too, $130/wk for 10k and $180/wk for 20k

        • I may be wrong but I think you need to make a purchase at Coles with the new flybuys card to trigger the offers. I bought some milk and scanned my new flybuys last month and then I got this offer that OP posted

        • +1

Make 2nd account, using same phone number, just different fictional name is fine. If buying and no worthwhile offers, just tap once a month on low purchases, even if it means breaking up your shopping into two (I usually only do $30-40).

Only tap big spends if the bonus is worth it but keep it close to the max you suppose too, you don’t want them to get a sniff of what you really spend there. You get next to nothing using it regularly, you need to aim for the bonuses that are suppose to ‘entice’ you back to Coles, even if it’s where you do all your shopping.

In saying that I think they're winding it back a little now, use to be nearly all shops were bonus with alternating cards. Rarely got more then $60/wk requirement, and if it did, ignored. Usually my other account startind arcing up then.

  • +2

$190/week for me, time to get new account

  • 4 x $60 last month, 4 x $70 this month.

    • nothing this month. I got it last time ( 4 x $60) and did it …I always only just go over the $60. Nothing this time and nothing the time before last either. I am only getting them once in a while now. Used to be all the time

      • +1

Yeah, I rarely get these too, these are the first ones this year, I do the same, just spend a little over. I had been getting a string of 1200 points for a $30 spend but haven't had any since new year.

  • $100/week for 4 weeks.

    • I got this as well… no deal

  • 110 a week for me unfortunately.

  • used to get these all the time, now only every 2nd time it is on offer (over the last 4 months or so)

  • +1

I get these pretty regularly. $50/wk for 4 weeks. I struggle to spend $50 on groceries in one store per week, so choose Coles to stock up on commodities that are priced the same across all supermarkets and have a long shelf life. Cheese, vanilla essence, frozen fish, sports drink powder, etc.

    • I used to as well (have an account for me and one for my husband) I always used to get the 4 x 50, but I haven't hadn't that sort of deal for many months now. My husband only had 4 x $60 last time and hadn't had anything before that since about Nov, nothing this time either…..just means we spend hardly anything at Coles for a while.

  • I got $70 every week for 4 weeks

  • +2

Love this activity. It just becomes part of my everyday life 😂

  • +1

Got an interesting offer of spend $280 across multiple transactions for 10k points and can complete within 4 weeks.

    • +1

I got the same, spend $240 across the 4 weeks for 10k points. I think it's a better offer for the weeks that there are hardly any decent half price specials you don't have to spend as much and can make up for it on the week with the better sales.

      • +1

I've never been offered that deal. Didn't get anything this time or the 3 times before either. Used to get the spend $50 x 4 weeks all the time for years. I would prefer the offer you got….as I didn't get any offer at all, would have been happy with the one the op got as well. lol
