      You shouldn't need to transcode for anything modern like phones and iPads, unless your phone is 10 years old and you're taking about an iPad 1 ?

    Does these psu use a 8 pin? I've tried the 6 pin to 8 pin adaptir route before for hp Z series desktop and it's a gamble whether the adaptor is good enough for sustained loads.

      According to https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05846113#AbT12 , the HP Z4 G4 'high-end' units have a 1000W power supply with 2 6+2 graphics card power cables. The difficulty is knowing whether these units have the high-end PS. That doc seems to indicate the Core i9 and Core i7 models should have the high-end PS. Don't know whether the Xeon W-2145 model has that or the 750W PS which doesn't come with the graphics card power cables.

    Hi all, just revised the qty, seems 32GB is more popular.
    A bit more info here-
    i7-7820X version has a 1000W PSU but not sure the internal GPU plugs, will have to check tomorrow. RAM is 4 x 8.
    W-2145 version has a 750W PSU and ECC RAM, can be 2 x 16 or 4 x 8.
    i7-9800X with P4000 has a 1000W PSU as well.
    Regarding of TPM 2.0, will have to check the bios setting tomorrow.

    Would one of the P320 workstations be a noticeable upgrade from my HP ML10 v2? it runs a Xeon 1220 v3 CPU, but only has 4gb ECC ram in single channel. Would upgrade the ram, but it's just so difficult to find these days.

    Just hosting local game servers for myself and friends, plus file storage.

      Which case? There are 4 different systems with different cases listed here.

      You can fit as many SATA SSDs as you like, they don't need to go in any particular location inside the case.

      HDDs need to be screwed into a bay, but any of the full size desktop/tower cases will have at least two drive bays.

      Ok, I just received a similar message today. This is really strange and concerning that an eBay order status could go from 'Posted', with multiple updates from the freight carrier, back to 'Paid' and now with a status of delayed.

      What is going on here @MetroCom ?

        Hi mate as described in the message you received, this batch machines don't have front fan kit originally and it was working fine with the P2000 GPU it came with but once we swap it with a K420, it gives error when boot up, saying you need to plug in front fan, which is weird, the K420 is less power consuming than a P2000 and cooler. We swapped a few GPUs, including M2000, P4000, K4000, it all gives error, except the P2000. Although you can hit ENTER every time it gives the error and boot into windows normally but it can be annoying if you restart it a few times a day. Hence we ordered the original fan kit for Z4 G4, it will give a better air flow in case you will upgrade the GPU in the future. Regarding of the shipping, we batch ship all the orders from one day and tracking will be uploaded automatically, although the label is still with us, the tracking info can be updated due to the scan of the manifest at AusPost depot. Appreciate your guys' patience. We will try dispatching as soon as we can. Never came across this issue before but lesson learned, will make sure the pcs are ready to go before listing them.

          Hi @MetroCom , I haven't received any such message. I just checked my eBay messages and only have received 1 unrelated message since I paid. All I can see on the Order Details page is that the Delivery Status has changed from Posted back to Paid. That is it. If I click on tracking details I see:

              I would like to say how impressed I am with your customer service. You went out of your way, very late in the evening to sort that out for me to make sure I knew what was happening with my order. Most sellers would wait until a convenient time the following day.

              I'm happy with how MetroCom are handling this; buying genuine HP parts from overseas to fix the unexpected BIOS error message at no charge to buyers. And doing so promptly. It is not easy getting hold of the part (1XM33AA) given the age of these devices, so well done. MetroCom advised the parts should be arriving next week and the systems will be shipped promptly after that.

      I received my system today - 28th April. MetroCom did an awesome job to get the parts from overseas and installed in the systems in a week. System is in great condition. Very happy.

        Yeah same, got mine today, except the DisplayPort video signal wasn't working (have to boot the system first then plug the cable in, otherwise no video signal, also no video signal for anything related to BIOS). Ordered a new DisplayPort cable to be arrived tomorrow and we will see.

        Other than that I am really happy!

    Got mine today… (actually arrived yesterday).. but picked it up from the post office today..
    Some scratched on one units, the other looks really good.
    Both with optical drives.

    Machine doesn't seem to accept 32gb dimms…

    Tooks hours to do all the uptakes for windows and HP drivers..

    Managed to drop in 10980xe after updating the bios.. it works.. with the issues of
    1) Fan type mismatched error.
