  • What on earth is the point of zoom without pan/tilt?

    • +2

To zoom in and setup your fixed field of view if you need it for your application?

      • Wouldn't it be better just to change the lens? They are a standard size, and cheap.

    Go with turret cameras.

Turret cameras are also handy for shooting the trespassers

      • Turret laser cannons cost extra $$.

I have two of these and they're great.

Yes, I did have the same issue with fog causing IR reflection on the dome. I opened the dome back up and tucked in a couple silica gel packs, it took a couple of weeks for the fog to clear but haven't had any issues with it reappearing since.

Turret cameras get fog too and can be harder to remedy.

    • does opening the dome void your warranty?

      • +3

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the dome to set the angle of the camera so warranty shouldn't be affected.

      • You have to remove the dome to install it and set the angle.
