Wow! The reviews on their site put me well off buying this.

        • +2

People are morons, especially ones that "review" on manufacturer sites. Hell there was an old JB Hifi review where someone gave a similar charger 1 star because it wasn't completely wireless because it still had to be plugged into the power.

They're fine if you're not in a hurry to charge a device, yes they get warm but most chargers do, and fans in bedside chargers get annoying. My Buds and Phone tend to go on it at night if they need charging, and I put my watch on it in the morning while I have a shower and get ready, and by the time I'm out the door everything has plenty of charge for the day.

If you expect it to charge your stuff in 30 minutes then good luck with that.

        • @Forgot69 ive had it for around 2 years something like that. Its great. Charges my phone and watch together at a decent rate

  • +3

have to say, it's better spend your money on soemthing else…. I got this one, useless….

    • I dont mean to burden you, but are you able to elaborate to help our buying decision?

      • +1

I got this to charge my S23U, once put on the phone shows like 50 mins to fully charge, after 10 mins same message. if you can use wall charge, better go for that…

    • I am also not overly impressed with this. I find devices get very hot, and my iPhone actually stops charging due to heating. I do not use the fast wireless mode on my Samsung S22 Ultra phone so that is not an issue. The 9W stand version from a few years ago is much better and is fan cooled.

      • how hot does it get lol? i'm using Apple MagSafe and it's fairly hot and that's normal no issues at all.

for an iphone to actually stop charging, it must be SUPER hot i reckon?

    • for the use case of charging a samsung watch and phone at the same time its pretty good, its slow but if your not in a hurry its ok. it also charges my Jabra earbuds. you can charge 2 phones simultaneously if they fit

Great charger. Easy enough to place your phone in the dark, and the watch placement is magnetic which makes it much easier to get right as well.

    • +3

Literally had this for more than a year and never noticed it was magnetic, I am also happy with mine, I don't usually use it for the phone but for the buds and watch I cannot complain

  • Very poor charger and it isn't compatible with the latest Galaxy watch due to the shape and mechanism of the band. I would not recommend as it is very slow and useless.
Also, connection points are fiddly meaning you'll be bouncing between areas to find the correct place to get your devices charging, especially the buds.

Works perfectly with my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro?

I think it's great as an overnight charger where devices can be charged slowly and not damage your battery.

If you need a quick charge worries it's not the way. Plug in a super fast cable and be on your way.

      • Which band are you using? The default one that comes with it does not open up all the way so you can't place the watch unless you disconnect the band.

        • I think it might be the Samsung sport band - was an option when I bought the watch I think

  • Up to 9W…

    • Once you go past 10w wireless, you are generating a lot of waste heat….

  • +1

I had one of these and I wouldn't recommend it. My unit would make a pretty annoying hum whilst charging at night.

  • Don't bother. I had the Duo Super Fast version and it was not great. Heats up a lot, noisy, and very picky about phone/earbud placement making it unreliable and not worth the hassle - they're supposed to simplify things.

    • +1

I had that too - this is better

  • It's… Okay. For someone like myself who has a Galaxy phone, watch and buds - it definitely works to charge all three. However, this thing is slow as soon as you're charging more than one device. Very convenient, could work well on an office desk or besides bed, but I definitely unplug this thing and go straight into my phone if I'll be needing power in a few hours.

Is it easy to line up the phone charging area? Can you just plonk the phone down (in the dark)?

      • +1

It's mostly pretty fine. As long as you know roughly where to put the device you'll be fine, like the guy below I often just lay my phone down across the whole thing so I can't miss. Also - there's a tiny LED at one end of the charger that lights up once something starts charging, so you can tell if you need to move it or not even in ther dark.

  • +1

I've got this and it's been great, had it for about a year to charge the S22 ultra, I don't use the watch charger part, I just place the phone across the entire charger sideways without looking instead of trying to place it correctly on some of the other smaller wireless charger pads, so easier to use in the dark too

I got mine from a special accessories deal when buying the phone

  • Thanks OP! Ordered another one for my office desk. I've had my one at home for more than a year and it's been perfect for me to charge my phone, watch, and buds overnight.

    No more for 75$

  • I don't think this is compatible with watch 5 pro.

    • it is

      • Have you used it with watch 5 pro or just think it is compatible? I remember checking with Samsung CC when I bought watch5 pro and they said it's not.

        • I use it every day

  • +1

    Back again for 75$

  • Ahhh I missed this, gov portal has it for $127 :(. Any reccomendation? Have an s20 ultra, s23, watch5, buds pro2 and a galaxy watch. Obviously not charging all at once, any reccomendations and or experience would be appreciated.
