Cyclops Bike Twin Transport Trailer $60 Delivered Only @ Target

290

I was looking around to find a cheap twin bicycle trailer to take the kiddos out and found this. Seems to be online only and free shipping.

Can't find any info about it online or any reviews but for $60 it's worth checking out.

Will report back when it arrives

Also long running $10 off thanks to shap08 below

  • You can pick up the bike the trailer and a baby seat attachment for the bike for pretty cheap considering it’s free delivery for one pass users

Any way to attach it to the car?

Put the kids in and drop them at school in relative peace & quiet. I just need a way to decouple without slowing down.

Raspberry Pi controlling a removable linchpin via Bluetooth. If you get the cornering right you get them to coast all the way in.

Pick up in a little more tricky, but I’m thinking a snap cable like they use on aircraft carriers.

    Nice find, thanks.

Will come in handy for getting groceries home via my bike.

And maybe for taking my cat out for a scenic cycle.

    • Curious, do you also take your cat on a leash or do you let it roam around while in an unfamiliar place?

Still gotta get him used to a leash before I let him roam. So not yet.

Unbelievable prices there for other cycling stuff - $90 for a mountain bike.

I'd definitely want to see a few reviews for something this cheap. Does anyone have any brand info about Huffy or Cyclops?

    • Both long established brands for non-serious cycling.
I think my first bike was a cyclops!

      • Has the Cyclops name/trade mark been sold off to a Chinese company the same way the famous Japanese names JVC and Toshiba have?

For the love of God, get yourself a decent bike and not one of these super cheap bikes if you want any sort of enjoyment from your ride.

Bought a Kmart bike once, it sucked away all joy in riding the thing. Gave it away for free it was that terrible. Not a high yield investment!

  • Damn i missed out no stock left apparently

  • No delivery available in Perth … I was hoping to transport my acoustic guitar and amp so I could do some playing down at the beach - my dreams are dashed :(

Could my dog ride in this safely?

    • Depends on how often you plan on crashing.

I would think if it's rated safe enough for children, it would be safe for dogs as well. Depending on the dog size, you may want to consider some way of securing the front portion of the trailer, so it is "open air" and invest in a very short lead to tie to the trailer so they don't jump off … $60 is a pretty cheap gamble to try it (if you can get one), and is sell-able for around the same price if it doesn't work for you …

Yes, I bought one similar years ago for my dog as he overheats after a while running beside me on the bike. Only issue was my dog was so scared of it - it was impossible to keep him in there while moving lol. Hopefully your dog(s) are more brave!

      • Clicker training with exciting treats (for a dog thats often often warm meat pieces)

Can train any animal to do anything they are physically capable of with enough patience, a clicker and a treat they love.

  • Any good for an e-scooter?

    • You’d need to make a custom bracket for it to work. Also your range will be shortened significantly
