Due to the success of their last 30% off site-wide promotion 2 weeks ago at Olympics opening ceremony, Deals Direct is going to run another one — 6AM-9AM next Monday 13 August. Coupon code for the day would be FINISH30. Yup, it's 3 hours only and 30% site wide so you better start looking around now and "note down the price".

Some terms and conditions:

  • Coupon not valid for purchase of gift vouchers or products on supermarketdeals.com.au
  • Coupon valid once per email address

On Tuesday they have site-wide shipping cap at $10, with exclusions apply to bulky items for some post codes.

Yup I made a mistake posting a wrong promotion last time, and it's verified this time (at least as I've been told). Also DealsDirect are getting back to me some exclusive offers for OzBargainers — that would be towards later next week hopefully.

EDIT: Shhhhhh… Coupon code seems to be working already.

    Received the Seagate Expansion 3TB USB 2.0 drives today. The HDD inside is ST33000651AS, which is apparently a 5- platter drive. I prefer the 1TB-platter ones, but can't complain given the price.

    Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet and Seagate 3TB drive arrived today, happy with the price. Well packed - huge box for two items though. Funny thing is my order status is still stuck on "Approved", which is odd as my previous purchases with DealsDirect the order status normally updates fairly promptly. In true OzBargain fashion:

    • Got PowerBuy $70 ThinkPad tablet cashback approved the just now, reserved it 5 minutes before I purchased on Friday afternoon.

    • Going overseas in 2 weeks time so claiming 10% GST back (lugging that 3TB hard drive around can be a bit of a hassle though…)

    • Wondering if my 4% BuckScoop cashback tracked properly though… lol

    Wow - I ordered a few items on Monday and I haven't heard anything so I decided to check my order.

    To my surprise, they've cancelled my order and didn't even notify me. I sent them an email and their customer service basically said my address was on the fraud list and so they cancelled my order. They've also debited my credit card.

    I'm pretty pissed off since I've ordered many things from them before. They could at least call me or email me to discuss this…how the hell is my address fraudulent?

    I'm going to ring them at 9am and give them an earful.

    I ordered a Dyson DC29 on Monday as well and have not heard back. I messaged them on their online chat and they said they will follow up, whatever that means.

    A bit worrying that they don't offer the DC29 anymore on the website.

        yeah I know. I was on hold for 40min, finally got to speak to some offshore CS officer…

        They've agreed to give me the discount again but I need to ship the items to my home address instead of my work, because somehow my work address is marked as "fraudulent" under their system. What a crock of ****.

        I love how they just cancel you order and don't give you a heads up. The customer needs to find out the hard way…

    Got Lenovo Tablet yesterday, when on come with test screnn and after that with Google + chinese ierogliohs.
    Reset to factory default - no eEnglish,but no preload apps. Called Lenovo - no help, wsasting of time. Called Deals Direct - in beginning promised exchange for new one ( I thought great), but after claimed it is no stock left - offered refund and obviously I did not accept.

    Interesting to hear other experiences ???

    Received the Seagate external 3TB HDDs today. Just cracked one open, and sure enough, it's got a ST33000651AS in it as per ryantan1121's comment! Sweet!!!
