StaticIce Style Search for Tools: https://toolpricecheck.com/simple-search/ ( To find this deal, all I did was type in "Makita saw blade 165mm" and looked for the lowest price item. )

Hey Ozbargain community I'm a third-year apprentice carpenter, my partner Shiv and I have developed a website that streamlines the process of finding, comparing, and saving money on tools. We've included prices from popular retailers like Total Tools, Sydney Tools, Bunnings, and many more. In fact, that's how we found this deal for you!!

Our platform also offers access to reviews, allows you to set price alerts, and helps you locate product manuals for the tools you're considering or already own. With our price alerts, you'll be the first to know when a tool's price drops.

We're aware that the tool market can be a bit confusing, so that's why we created Tool Price Check to bring some clarity. Our goal is to provide a one-stop destination where you can find great deals on tools while also learning about the performance and user satisfaction of various brands. This way, you can make informed purchasing decisions and invest in tools that are both reliable and durable.

Hopefully, we can help you save a couple of bucks on your next tool purchase!

Not everyone can afford Makita Efficut, especially apprentices. My old man still has this style of blade that came originally with his corded saw and it still works just fine. it's a general-purpose blade that works well for framing and rough work.

  • Seems Gympie is the only QLD location and not available there

    • Yep, sorry, sold out. I have updated the title to reflect its only available for pickup in NSW.

  • Looks like none in SA
    .

    • Yep, sorry seems to have sold out everywhere except NSW, I have updated the title to reflect this.

  • Can I use it in Dewalt brand saw?

    • yep, shouldn't have any issues, which Dewalt saw do you have? just give me the model number and I will double-check for you, sometimes different brands use different arbor sizes but saw blades generally come with adaptor rings to help with this issue.

      • DCS565m1

        • Should work just fine with this blade without an adaptor.

  • Does it work with an el cheapo ozito v
    Circ saw?

For sure your saw has a 20mm arbor, so should work without any issues.

  • You’re really helpful @ToolPriceCheck

    • Thank you very much @LawTalkingGuy , always glad to help in any way I can!

  • The website seems like a good idea but I think 95% of the time power tools on the major sites are exactly the same price so you'd have to get lucky to find a bargain.

Will keep on it though, cheers

edit: having looked at the site a bit closer, there does seem to be a lot more savings on ebay and amazon than i first suspected

Thanks for the Feedback @ruffruff , although our website is a price comparison website, I want to use it to bring more transparency about the tools that we are buying, it would be awesome if tool price check becomes a place where people would go to find useful and accurate information of tools, accessories, and consumables. This is what I'm trying to do by introducing more statistics to the website.
