Honest question, how much better is it than this one (which was $4750 recently)?

Is the C1 just an older model?

Same price at Video Pro who offer delivery to a wider range of locations and free click and collect in Brisbane if you are somehow capable of transporting a TV this big. Worth checking Appliance Central first though as they offer free shipping to some places.

    • They seems to do free shipping to a few post codes I checked within Sydney, not sure about other locations though.

    a gorgeous TV

  • How good are large (80 inch+) Sony TVs these days in compassion to Samsung? Sooner or later I'll want to upgrade my 1080p 70' Sony.

Reason I'm asking is that I got a few Sony ecosystem devices (PS3/4 | Sound bar/Sub). And if Sony is still good, it may make sense I stick with the brand. Especially for the sound bar as the control integration only works on Sony TV (according to the manual)

Sony are below falcon in quality and support, absolutely forget about them.

    • Sony typically have higher build quality, and Dolby Vision support.

      Samsung have HDR+ support.

Make of that what you will, but really you need to compare models, not brands.

    $7200 TV :( I would buy it in 2030 :(

    • +1

In 2030 most desk jobs will be taken over by GPTs. 7200 would be hard to come by.

  • +2

that's the one I want. just the price has to drop another $2000.

  • Missed out the c1 83” at $4750 :(

Hopefully it comes back again soon especially when the C3 is due to be out in a couple of weeks!

  • Why are all the deals for the 83" LG OLED's nearly all from Appliance Central? They dont deliver to SA at all 🙃
