  I'd avoid this neon strip, as it does not list how many controllable pixels it has or what LEDs are used. It also lists it both as 300 LEDs, and 180.

  IMO don't buy RGBIC strip unless it lists the number of pixels, the specific IC used, and the specific LED used.

  Even if this is 60 LEDs a metre, it's unlikely to have every LED individually controllable or it would advertise it as such. Even then, 60 LEDs a metre is not enough IMO for neon strip, as you'll distinctly see each LED, and not get the seamless neon effect.

  RGBIC neon strip is awesome, but it's well worth the time learning about the options and getting something that will do justice to whatever project you use it for.
