  • Is this fun?

    • +2

No clue I've never played lol

    • +1

I thought it was a decent co-op shooter. Certainly not as bad as the reviews made it out to be. And for $5? Why not.

      • +1

Eh, I bought it and don't really enjoy it that much.
It's a lot simpler than I expected for its rrp.

        • +1

Well I didn't buy it until it was heavily discounted and I'm sure it had probably received some updates since launch. I wouldn't have paid full price for it but I rarely do for any game these days.

    • +4

I sunk about 100 hours into it to 100% everything to L32. Matchmaking these days is nonexistent so unless you are in a squad i would avoid.

  • +5

Keep in mind that this game is available if you are subscribed to PS Plus

    • +2

PS Plus Extra I assume not the Essential subscription?

        • +13

          I have essential hahaha

          • @jollyrogga: I am sure a lot of people do. I am curious as to why when there is so much more available for the extra few dollars and it would save you buying games like this lol

        • +8

Maybe we just have it to play online and for the couple of extra games per month? No point subscribing to Extra for all these games that I don't want to play or have no time to play now is there?

          • @dreamstation: That's fine. A simple explanation would've sufficed. I did not realise me not understanding would cause so much offence and negs. :-)

            • @toastface: Huge backlog, have game pass as well which is better

          • +2

@dreamstation: I would rather a tier existed even lower than essential. Eg $3/month and it only gave multiplayer. I don't want or use any of the other features, yet I still have to pay for them to play online.

If you play Siege, it's worthwhile grabbing this just to get the free operators that it unlocks just by owning it. If that works with the PS Plus version too, that's even better!

    • +5

There is a free trial (7 hrs I think?) so you can get the unlock by using the free trial

      • +2

Thanks for the tip, here’s the link to the PS5 trial version - https://store.playstation.com/en-au/product/EP0001-PPSA01516…

Trial is for 2hrs. More than enough to just unlock operators if that works.

        • +1

oops must have been cyberpunk that was like 7hrs. Either way for anyone debating whether it is worth it at $5 play the 2hr demo and you should be able to work it out :)

  • Its on Game pass

    • +4

Not anymore, left a little while ago.

    • +12

      That'll help those PS4/PS5 players won't it

  • +1

Not even worth it at this price, no offline and you can only play incursions solo. No campaign mode. So, free, is the right price.

    • Trade fodder? I copped it for the rewards and will probably trade it towards the new Crash Team Rumble game!

    • +2

Cheers for the heads up on SP.

  • +4

crap I only play campaign games! i’ll skip cheers

    • All good Jimbo!

  • Tempted to get it, but will we still be able to find matches with others? Heard the game is kinda dead :/

    • I reckon you could find a match or two at peak times

    • It has cross-platform play with Xbox and PC, so if your friend(s) are on another platform, you can still play with them.

But if you were searching for random players, then yes, it is kinda dead.

  • this is online only isn't it?

  • Does this game have a campaign?

    • I don't believe so

    • there is a storyline kinda that you can play through online co-op or solo. You unlock levels as you work through but its pretty quick to unlock all the maps. After that you are just trying to max out the characters to get all the weapon unlocks.

  • great for my 3 year old who's into guns

    • Get them into Fortnite it's free

  • +1

Man I loved the ballsy idea that they had here. They were like "What if we could make FPS XCOM in our already competent R6 Siege engine. That'd go off like a frog in a sock!". And they could have been right too if they'd managed to make it even the slightest bit fun.

  • HN has it for $5 if anyone still supports it then

    • But then you have to get in a car and drive to it lol
