Price Matching Woolworths if your preferred option.

What sort of a thieving company would have a normal price of $52 for this.
This is why I no longer shop at that store, but people do happily pay the price.
There needs to be an OZ Bargain shoppers school.

  • Thank you. Bought one

I doubt he's been able to retain one with a comment like that in 2023

    • But I need dishwasher tabs now!!!!

Just FYI to all my Aldi fiends in here the Aldi Tablets are insanely good and are rated equal second by choice.

Yeah bought it for the first time a few months ago and was truly impressed. Just to confirm, my partner was telling me we shouldn’t remove the plastic wrap before placing it in the dishwasher (like the other brands). Looking at the wrap, that did not make sense to me and we have been removing the wrap since. I am 99.9% sure I am right. Can someone make that a 100% for me please?

      • +8

There is no need to remove the wrap. Put one in water and see it dissolve…

      • +12

First of all, your partner is always right.

Second of all its on the package, back of the box top left. Its a bio-degradable wrap

      • +2

When i stack dishes to the dishwasher, my hand is wet and i touched the aldi tablet with the wrap and it sticks to my finger so i realise that it is dissolvable.

    • How are they priced?

      • -1

        Well.

      • +1

        Cost: $7 per pack of 40 (18c a wash)

        • Thanks!

    • We found these scratch glassware.

  • +7

yes, Aldi tablets are the best

    • +1

Once using aldi tablets, i never mind others. So tired to looking for sale while aldi ones are always the cheapest and good quality.

      • Have you tried the new formula Shine tablets from Woolies?

    • I just use the "Aldi Logix Automatic Dishwashing Powder Lemon" - absolutely no problems (with my dishwasher anyway) its been as low as $3.69 / kg making it ~7c a wash!

      .

  • Is this stuff much better than dishwashing powder?

I buy Woolworths homelessness $4 for 50 cycles.
This is more than four times as expensive.

    • +1

Honestly, yes. I went to the aldi tablets from the Finish Dishwashing powder and it has done a way better job.

      • +1

The only problem with tablets is there is no detergent available for the pre-wash cycle.

        • +1

If you want you can just pour a little powder onto the door for prewash.

    • +1

Tablets are good for cleaning drains and drain covers. Put tablet on drain grate, pour kettle of boiled water over it slowly, repeat if necessary, and your drain grate will be sparkling clean and any bad smell in drain will disappear. Saw it on TikTok. I'm sure there's other cleaners that will do the same job but pouring a kettle of water is ez.

  • Ultimate but not quantum…. hmmm?
Where does this rank in the finish hierarchy??

  • +1

    I dont see S&S?

  • Thanks OP, i need these for the next TikTok challenge

    • +2

If it’s a challenge targeting TikTok’ers, let’s hope it involves drinking the stuff…

  • Do these leave any strong detergent smell like the Fairy brand tablets?

    • +1

Keen to know this about Aldi's too. I've been using Fairy and the detergent smell after a wash is a put-off

Bargain lovers, we've got some good news for you: one of the best detergents for getting your dishes sparkling clean will cost you only 18 cents per wash!

In our latest dishwasher detergent review, Aldi's Logix Platinum 18 in 1 Dishwashing Tablets Lemon beat products costing up to four times as much, proving that you can be hard on food stains while being gentle on your hip pocket.

It ranked alongside several products from big-name brand Finish, which took out the top spot with its Finish Powerball Quantum Ultimate Pro Tabs Baking Soda, scoring 76% overall. The Aldi product came in at 75% along with two more Finish Powerball products.

The most expensive Finish Powerball product costs $1.19 a wash – that's more than six times as much as Aldi's Logix Platinum.

    • Gotta try next time
Wife isn’t very happy with the cheap finish classics

  • Finish have about ten different types of 'Super Ultimate Power Max Pro'. I'm looking forward to 'Finish One', the inevitable consolidation.

…then three months later - 'Finish One Ultimate Pro'.

  • I used an Aldi tablet and after the cycle I found little sand-like powder sticking at the side. Also, there used to be scratches all over my glassware over time and finally, I noticed that they are using sand as an abrasive which over time damages the machine as well as the glassware.

    • I did notice with the Aldi Logix platinum that all of the prints on my glasses (Iron Man Glass) slowly got worn down so that would make sense. Might try the original again.

  • I buy the 60 packets of Finish Quantum Max dishwasher tablets from The Reject Shop. It’s just grey market imported from Europe based on what I can tell.
think I last paid about $12 or $14 for a packet of 60 tablets. Reject Shop does a lot of grey market imports and there’s nothing wrong with the product. Anyway just an another idea ppl can investigate.

  • i too agree Reject Shop is good place to buy dish washing tablets for almost 30% of listed price in big shops.
