    It's a little over a year old and it received mixed/positive reviews but it's a quality FPS for $3 that's for sure.

      "Quality" is subjective.

      It's a good time-sink if you really just need to blow sh*t up for a half hour here and there. Beyond that, it's completely unengaging.

      It plays pretty much like BF3's campaign. A lot of consolized, linear corridor shooting with lots of cool scripted events and hopeless AI. No replay value.

      Imo, the first F.E.A.R. is the only decent one in the series. It actually has atmosphere and a compelling storyline as well as some of the best AI ever seen in an FPS, but rather repetitive and boring environments.
