  • If you buy 2, you can get 1000 points back, so 4000 points for each sim card.

    • +2

      4500?

But agree wait for it to be 2000 points and then it will be a deal!

      • Yes sorry I miscalculated.

    • +2

You can only buy one at a time so its 5000 points.

  • +5

Don't post it and it'll be for 2k pts later.

    • +2

Hopefully, but I'll been waiting for more than 8 months and I still don't see the 2k deal coming out yet.

  • +4

    2000 points or no deal.

  • Called up and they said this also includes data plans! So get that $15 unlimited data sim offer for 5 months free!

    • +1

Got a bit more background on this?

      • +1

I think this is the deal here

It’s not unlimited at full speed though. It gets shaped after you have used up your allowance. Someone said this can be bypassed but I don’t know how.

        • +1

Yep, I have ordered 2 sims for my EFB and Portable Modem.

Bought 2 of these, should cover 5 months of service for free. (10k Telstra Points)

          • @AircraftFreight: Can you do a referral to get extra $20 credit or it is only for mobile activation?

            • @yoquierotaco: I will be trying this, stay posted :-)

              • @AircraftFreight: Any update on this at all with the referral and activating this $15 data plan?

                • @Nousernamehere: I wasnt able to activate it, couldnt find any page through the mobile app. Potentially through the website.

                  • @AircraftFreight: I know from the previous deals you had to activate it on the higher plan then could move down to the $15 (now $19) voice plan. I was thinking these wouldn't be able to be activated on the data plan sadly.

                    • +1

@Nousernamehere: Oh sorry, I read "Can you do a referral to get extra $20 credit or it is only for mobile activation?"

Yes I was able to activate 2 $15 data plans without any issues.

                      • @AircraftFreight: Ah ok that's alright then, shame you can't seem to combine the $20 referral credit and the $15 data plan!

                        • @Nousernamehere: I couldn't do it on the mobile app, but potentially through the website. Or ask customer service after maybe

                          • +1

@AircraftFreight: I'll see how I go when I activate the SIM in a week or so and report back anyway!

                          • @AircraftFreight: So finally getting around to this, how'd you activate it on the $15 data plan? It's only giving me the option for the $25 20GB plan and that's the lowest it'll allow.

                            • @Nousernamehere: When activating have you made sure that you are on “Data” plans and not mobile plans? I had to choose between either

                              • @AircraftFreight: Unfortunately it doesn't give me any option for that. Only gives me the mobile plans when I enter in the sim number.

                                • @Nousernamehere: Try doing it on the website maybe or call them?

                                  • @AircraftFreight: Yeah I am doing it on the website, might try and app and see if it gives me the option then!

EDIT: Tried the app, still doesn't give me any option apart from the mobile plans.

                                    • @Nousernamehere: Huh, really interesting.

                                      • @AircraftFreight: Have sent them a message through the app. But annoying as yeah, doesn't give any option to choose between the data and mobile plans. Will wait and see what they come back with.

                                        • +1

@Nousernamehere: Ok so ended up fixing it, was going through the wrong option (had to go and activate through the 'data plans' option which I wasn't doing, so my bad.

Also found out you can't get referral credit with a data plan which sucks, but still be 5 months of usage for basically nothing so can't complain too much.

        • Shaped to?

  • FYI you can't use these to recharge, I asked via Belong chat :(

    • Port out and back in with a cheap 1 month sim offer. They might not swap back within one calender month.

  • i cant checkout. keep getting 404 error.

    • Same error message

    • It won't work for everyone but the only thing that stopped 404ing when checking out almost anything for me was checking out on Firefox fresh install on Windows 10 PC.

      • I was just able to make the purchase work by signing in from this deal link on a MAC with Chrome browser directly. was able to place my orders finally
had been checking the deal before for a week now but didn't post coz it wasn't working. thought its broken. but finally worked today from OP link

    Waiting for 2000 points

  • -1

    is the reception still pathetic?

    • Actually really good, I'm on Belong rn

    • It's Telstra reception in all Metro/suburban/semi rural areas basically. It only really different from Telstra's reception when you start getting way out.

      • -1

Thot was the watered down telstra? I couldn’t even get a signal inside city loop or inside the office buildings in cbd 6 month ago.

        • Yeah watered down in the way I described, probably not going to have reception in humpty doo with belong as you would with Telstra, but you'll have it around all the coastal areas.

  • Nice, will buy $70 400GB data plan with it and gift data to my friend!

  • +1

I found Belong use more data than other service providers. Anyone knows why?

    • +1

      Same here

  • -8

You have to pay for postage. Bad deal

    • +3

It says that you have to, but for me at least, it didn't charge it.

    • -2

You don’t, I paid nothing | Please cancel your neg

    • -1

you get a shipping fee discount for an emailed esim?

      • Belong doesn't support eSIM AFAIK. They're just not charging for shipping the physical SIM.

      • It is not e-sim it is physical

  • Get it last deal 2000 point, but start kit only use one time not renewal. $25 per month

  • Just ordered one, no delivery fee, no errors.
Not with telstra, but had 7800 points sitting there doing nothing.
    Checked out in 30 seconds.

Had the sim expiring in 12 days time, enough time for the belong to deliver and viola 3 months free sim.

Will buy a blue yeti mic to finally start recording voiceovers.

  • 404 Error when trying to checkout.

Also listed as $5.95 delivery or 2500 points.

    • Dude - thanks for posting this!

    • cheers mate :)

  • can someone tell me, so i have to get a $25 sim and put my details in then use this to activate? or i just buy this $80 to use up to 3 months and dont have to put payment details in?

    • +1

You can just use this sim to activate and not pay anything for whatever period the $80 covers you on the plan that you have chosen. You do have to put payment details in but no actual payment is taken until your $80 credit runs out - if you cancel/port out before you're charged for the last month, you don't end up paying anything.

  • Bought one at Coles so no delivery fee, Coles insisted that they were giving me the GST and yes it was slow, slow slow…..

  • Back in stock 5K no delivery fee

  • Does Belong impose xx-days wait after porting out before allowing you to port back in like Kogan?

  • is sharing of points permissible?

  • does anybody have experience if Belong SIM work in Telstra Cobra XH modem?

    • +1

Telstra Full and Wholesale are two "separate" networks. If the modem is locked to Full, Belong SIM won't work in it.

    • +1

i tried before with $25 belong sim and it worked

  • Hi brains trust, can anyone recommend a router for this belong sim? One ideally with Ethernet port and one without would be great. Tia

Posting again. Terrible deal and terrible that you OzB Fools cancelled by negative. Take that L. Life served you lemons… Suck it up

  • Damn, bought 2 for 10000 points each last month. Could've set up 4 $70 400GB Data plans on separate services and gifted them all to my mobile plan. Bummer!
Used my remaining 5000 points on this one, thanks OP!

Gonna run my MATE $1 plan for 3 months out first, port over to Belong - 2 data plans on the $70 400GB plan (forego $10 credit), and 1 mobile plan on the $25 plan.
Gift both data plans to my mobile plan.. which makes 820GB in Month 1. 3 months free.. seems good value.

    • You got ripped off for 10000 points each. It had been 2000 points each. Click the product link above.

      • 100% lmao I went on Live Chat and asked if they can do me a solid and give me some credits so I can get some more. Bummer!

  • Picked up 8 total for 40k points. Should be 40 months of my backup broadband data for free. $600 otherwise

    • They may expire after 365 days.

  • Back to 10k
