20% off Coke, Drinks, Snacks at Coca-Cola Amatil Vending Machines (e.g. $3.36 for 600ml Coke) @ VendSwift App

330

Was nearing the end of the work day and needed a sugar hit… Upon visiting the local Coke vending machine, noticed that the Vendswift "app" was offering a 20% discount.

While usually not great value this did make the typical $4.20 bottle of coke $3.36 and this discount was also showing for the snacks machine too.
Because the discount is through Vendswift it only applies to vending machines that have the QR code you can scan, which at my workplace seems to be the "CocaCola Ice Box" branded ones.

Also, keep in mind that every 10th drink is free (details here) so that can eventually lead just over $3 for each 600ml bottle (9x$3.36 = $30.24/10 = $3.024).

Again not huge value but a nice enough treat for my late afternoons grinds. Sorry if this is more of a forum post.

Was $3 for a 600mL at my work until some peanut who'd been there five minutes had a whinge about the lack of selection. Nek minute, the CCA machine is gone and some other mob is charging $4.50 (plus 20c if you use a card) for the same 600mL Coke. The new selections didn't sell either so we are back to the original choices at a much higher price. GG moron.

Vendswift has been running this deal for a while. Now I buy my Coke from the Vendswift machine instead of in the meal room.

$2.80 for a 500ml mother is a good price, cheaper than woolies. Cheers OP

  • Yeah been using this for a while actually make the machine not a bad value in a pinch

  • You mean a real coke for $3.50/600ml?

  • Thanks for sharing OP!

  • 50c for a can of Coke back in the day.

Ah yes, when I am at work and feel like an ice cold Coke I'll just pop down to Woolies and buy a hot 2Ltr to slake my thirst.

Before you come back with some comment like, "Buy it before hand and stick it in the fridge," I can't do that because I don't work in a fixed place and there is no fridge. I also can't cart around an esky all day because I don't have anywhere to put it.

There are insulated drink bottles that can keep drinks cold all day. The tight seal will keep in the carbonation too.

Up to you to decide whether it's worth it or not.

          name checks out

    • I think what Wizard is saying is, a real bargainer would stuff around with a 2L that would be flat by Friday, But would be the best value… I get yr thinking 😏

Maybe not good value for everyday use but very convenient. For example when I was at Brisbane airport the other week returning home the machines there had that deal and it was better value than anywhere else for Coke.

    • this is the way.

or a shift worker who decideds they just need a cool drink and everything else is shut.

Im really sense a shift in ozbargainers to pitch and forker all the time.

sure.. if a product generally is bad, then neg it, but please… think before commenting i say.

I love the 600ml cokes. Especially the ones in the vending machine, hubby purchased a 24 pack for $30 from a shop in Chester hill during Ramadan. He got the last 2 boxes there and they also had the raspberry Fanta. Still had 3 months left expiry.

You mean Coca-Cola Europacific Partners? The old CCA no longer exists.

    • A little bit of topic, but thank you for representing the ASD community 😜

A true ozbargainer does not buy from vending machines

  • I stopped cold as soon as the only options were to sign in with Facebook or Google

  • Looks like it has ended
