AmEx Statement Credit: Get 20% Back at Participating Restaurants ($25 Cap Per Card) @ American Express Delicious Month Out

3470

Back again for another year! Sorry Perth folks, seems like they don't care about the restaurant scene there again. But you can use the offer if you travel east. Make sure you use the map to check whether the restaurant is participating this year as I found a restaurant that was on last year's list isn't on this year's list.

Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend in-person only at participating American Express Delicious Month Out businesses between 28/04/2023 and 31/05/2023 to get up to $25 back per Card, via a 20% credit on each transaction. Limited to the first 75,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

this is pretty pathetic - add to this the poor service at Amex and the high cost of most cards. just not worth it

  • Saw the sign at this small restaurant but can’t find them on the list from amex site, let’s hope I haven’t wasted the $0.29 amex surcharge

You might have seen a Shop Small sign?

  • just went to dumpling alley westfield and it was listed as a shop but the place doesn't even accept amex…. now I have to chase up amex support to get my $20…. what a whole lot of effort.

They are a breeze compared to chasing Flybuys.

Had dinner out on 4 May and received the full $25 credit this morning. Seriously $25 cap per card member is too low.

  • just bought some Grill'd… when does the cashback show up?

    • For me, cashback showed up within three days of the transaction taking place.

    • around 3 to 4 days

Just realised Maccas and KFCs are participating businesses, would have saved $25 by now.

Just confirming that multiple transactions from the same restaurant are definitely OK, even on the same night.

Source: hit up Opera Bar twice in one night last week (also how shit is the map; Opera Bar isn’t on it but still got the credit)

    • I agree the map is useless. I have received 5 credits, only 1 of which is on the map.

  • Shopped at two places shown on the Amex map. Am I supposed get an email confirmation for the shop?

There might be a lag because it's the weekend. Ordinarily you should

      • Found out it that Boost and Baker's Delight are listed on the map but doesn't have the delicious month logo so it didn't count!

        • yeah, same thing happened to me with Bakers Delight and Sushi Hub. I already raised the issue with them. Now I have to wait 7 days to hear from them.

  • Anyone know any participating coffee places that sell coffee cards in Sydney CBD?

    Thanks!

    • +1

No but I made my own prepay arrangement with my local coffee shop.
