Wow, sounds like a really good deal - is it worth getting for this price?
Do people generally use these for parties or everyday listening also? I already have a JBL Flip 4 so looking for an excuse to upgrade lol
Depends on where you want to use it. It is a great party speaker, that's for sure, but I wouldn't use it for casual listening. I generally use it in an outdoor setting, or in the living area at a low-ish volume.
Also factor in the size. This thing's definitely not small, it's about the size of 8-10 flips I'd wager
I have one and use it in my garage when im doing outside work, or tinkering with things. As the comment from Agefreak, it is a big unit. Last time I took it to a friends house I strapped it into a seat with a belt when standing it upright. It does have wheels and a handle like a suitcase though. It's impressively loud. I don't regret the purchase but I do feel the JBL Encore may be the perfect size if you want to frequently take it out and still get some great sounds. If you want something that will truly blast though, the Partybox 110 wont do you wrong.
