    • it's $50

Good chairs cost upwards of $1000….

      Go figure.

If I buy this, I am contributing towards the accelerated death of our world.

  • I would really like anyone who buys this thing to give some longer term usability reviews. The 1 month, 1 and 2 year marks would be great.

Looks like someone has given reviews already, and their chairs are about as expected.

    • Same as any gaming chair from office works

  • Ordered a full black one for my 10year old / 35kg kid

  • Crazy! I was looking for gaming chairs in officeworks and was about to drop $220

This deal, I paid US$31.61 or AUD50.51 via paypal.

If you're a new user, you can get an extra US4.00 off.

  • looks good, just a note. the arms don't seem to fold up which means you may not be able to move it under your desk.

i bought the thunda from coles for $100 a while ago and thought it was a good deal and which looks very similar and has the same limitations

    Thanks.

  • Can anyone recommend a decent office chair, budget max $300. It will get a lot of use so don't want cheap junk.

About 6 months ago I did the rounds at Officeworks, and a few other places… Even paid Gerry a visit. I couldn't find anything I really liked.

My current 4 year old ~$100 Officeworks leather chair is on its last legs but it's still comfortableish.

  • I bought one of these a while ago, budget was low, and the need for a chair that wasn't badly broken was high, so I took a gamble.

It lasted a week, the legs started to bend and bow almost right away when I moved the chair and then the seat post right after that.

  • Has anyone actually had their orders shipped yet?

  • Update:

    Got the chair today.

    First thoughts

    Pros:
    - Very easy to assemble, easy instructions. you don't need additional tools, everything is given
    - Design is nice
    - It has a leg elevator underneath for those who want to be a bit more comfy
    - Arm rest is nice with padding
    - Comes with head pillow and lower back pillow

    Cons:
    - No spring back tilt, you can adust the tilt and lock it in place but if you want to rock back and forth (like my old chair), this isnt for you
    - The 4 raised curves on the sides, they have a bar that makes the shape, if you move your legs or lean, you can feel the bar. My previous chair didn't have it and I don't know if I can get used to it as the bar is annoying me.

    Neutral
    - Upon sitting on it the first time, even now, the cushion is very very very stiff and hard. I am sure it will soften over time.
    - Arm rest doesn't move if you need space or if you have a low table, it wont fit under the table

Overall for $50 I am not mad at all…. time will tell if it breaks on me and my opinion may change.

  • Got the chair, from what people said about it being cheap. It’s true. The T bar looks weak and i can see it being broken leaning back on it. Bit of a shame bc just fixing this t-bar to be a sturdier design wouldnt have cost them that much more.
