Saw these recently, and that Bunnings/Sydney Tools/Total Tools have a two piece cordless kit for $249 with two 2.0Ah batteries and a battery redemption for a third 2.0Ah battery (have to sign up for Bosch team blue for battery).

Then I saw this kit, which has 3.0Ah that you get a third 3.0 battery, and the reciprocating saw that usually retails for $265. So $150 extra gets you three 3.0Ah batteries and a Saw. Seems a good deal.

    the bosch 12v which was named and market as 10.8v previously, has been out for more than 10+ years. Bosch always had a large 12v range but Australia market seems more interested in 18v. They are properly more popular in country like Taiwan where living space is more compact, furniture and cabinets are smaller. They are great for tight space

    Dewalt 10.8v same as 12v

        all the 12v and 18v range from different top brand are pretty similar, I guess is what suit you. Milwaukee is a great brand and have some good 12v tools.

    Yes they are, but significantly lighter, so less fatiguing to use.

      That's the reason I bought a 12v so it's easier to drill hundreds of pilot holes a day

  Another note is that these are much better than the $249 kit. These are the brushless versions with a fair bit more oomph.

  Bosch 12v tools are very good but note only 1 of the 3 tools is brushless in this pack.

    Also in the description below it lists the 2ah battery not the 3ah one. This could totally alter the value proposition.

  Can also redeem a brushless 18v angle grinder, seems like great value.
