        What's the expiry date? 4 years from date of purchase like most other gift cards?

        I assume it's a prepaid Visa card so almost no risk of some company collapse and you will lose your unused balance?

          Visa doesn't issue the card, they handle the transaction and authorisation between merchant and the issuer. If the issuer goes bust, like Red Balloon or Restaurant Choice (no idea if that's the company or not), you're likely to lose your balance.

    The Uber gift cards can be applied to previous rides up to 30 days ago and the original payment method will be refunded.

    A slight caveat to that statement…

    If you have an Uber transaction that was paid for with both Uber Cash and a debit/credit/prepaid card, you cannot switch the card component of that transaction to Uber Cash (even if there is sufficient Uber Cash on your account). Instead, you need to switch that transaction’s payment method to a second debit/credit/prepaid card on your Uber account, then you will see the option to switch the payment method to Uber Cash.

      Just so others are aware. Immediate switch to Uber Cash and refund to your original payment method only for the first 3 rides you apply. After which, the app prompts me to submit a ticket to apply for the rest of the trips. This number was 5 based on comments from last deal.

      That's because Amazon doesn't tell you on the landing page or change it's listing even though the items are OOS. It leaves you to see at the last step just before you pay that there is no discount - with no warning or anything. A ridiculous practice only a large we-don't-give-a-shit-about-you retailer can get away with.

    I got the $500 the restaurant gift card contacted amazon. They asked me a few things then said they would refund me promo credit (the price difference of the promo).
    For anyone who wants the restaurant choice giftcard can contact the customer service for help. I said I saw the promo but no discount applied. They asked me to send the screenshot of the promo and the link as well. Good luck.

    Is the Roblox conversion on these cards worth it now? Buying the gift cards use to give you better value for money than buying robux directly through the app/website.

      I think it is the same.

      But it is a rip off now.

      A few months ago I got $10 giftcard and it converted to 801 robux.
      A few days ago, $10 only got 501 robux.
      minus 300 robux.

      I read somewhere that it takes into account the value of the AUD now, I do not think it did before April 2023

          I don't think anything is a better deal with roblox. Son keeps getting scammed.

          I think giftcard is the same (you get a virtual item though, not sure if you get this if online).
          eg. you enter your $10 giftcard, then (now), it converts $7.99 to 400robux (if you bought online, price is the same), then it says you have $2.01 do you want to convert to 101 robux, before it was convert straight to 801 robux before.

          Roblox is getting expensive and son just spends it all in 10 seconds.

          I use giftcards so I don't need to use credit cards/paypal on their websites.

        Gift card used to give better value than buying online, but like what fredk1000 said, Roblox implemented a change and now AUD gift cards do not exchange to Robux like they used to. Used to be same as USD but now they take into account foreign currency exchange rates, so AUD Roblox gift cards now exchange for much lesser Robux.

        But buying the gift card at a discount still gives better value than buying Robux online directly from Roblox. With the gift card credits, a better option is to get the premium membership. Still gives less Robux overall compared to the past, but more than exchanging for Robux at one go and you get game benefits as well.

    Just a headsup…seems that the Restaurant Choice cards are no longer working at Fitness First…Either Restaurant Choice have changed the eligible MCC's or Fitness First has changed their MCC… Anyone else having a similiar experience?

      From my experience, the digital version doesn't work at FF, only the physical version does.
