Thanks for the reminder to purchase my twice-annual over-priced ~$40 product from Mr Porter for $75 in order to get my cashback!

    • What do you buy?!

      • +1

I think last time was a pair of gloves and a beanie. Maybe a tshirt before that.

A pair of sunglasses for my mom. Overpriced but at least I got paid for the purchase.

The $75 almost gets nothing, even with the 20% off.

      • Yeah I know. The 15GBP express shipping is a killer!

    • They have to cover the return shipping somehow!

I assume you added a few extra items to qualify for free shipping?

      • A few?? I think you have to spend AU$200 for that?

        • A few??

My bad - an extra pair of socks ought to do it.

  • What's the "fashion credit"? Is that another Amex deal that I presumably don't have?

    • +1

You get it with the Amex Platinum card. Basically $75 cashback twice a year when you spend at least that much on Mr Porter or Net-a-Porter.

Last time, I bought a Moncler jacket with $75 Amex credit + 15% off first time code + 20% Amex credit. Then I sold it on the Facebook market….at 80% market price. I would not recommend it. Too much effort for a few hundred bucks of gain…

    • who tf would do that….. thats losing money with extra steps.

  • I have a separate offer for Net-a-porter, same terms. No good to me for either of them, as I already used my $75 credit this time around and that's the only time I would shop there. The offer comes around regularly though so I'll wait till after 1 July.
