Was looking for a mechanical keyboard with 2x windows keys , one for windows arranging and switching the inputs - thank/curse Microsoft taken away the Ctrl+Space that I used for decade! Was trying to decide between Keychron K10 Pro ( $179 Inc) and found this one for near half price.

Please be aware that there are mix feedback from community about the quality please do go through them before buy.

This is normal price at umart but not delivered so guess that's convenient. I use these for work and they are great. Only issue is with rechargeable batteries the voltage gets too low and you start getting duplicate keys. I think 1.5V was the sweet spot and as they got down to 1.3V you startt too gett doouble keyss

My G512 k/b is getting duplicated keys after a few months of usage.
I contacted Logitech, they ended up send me a brand new k/b

All my romer-g keyboards started double typing recently (even the G613 that was sitting inthe cupboard almost it's entire life).

Not sure if it was a recent windows update or something, but adjusting bouncetime in the registry seems to have helped.

I dont mind romer-g but likely will stay away from them as there's many other alternatives nowadays.

    • Any idea if it's possible to change out the battery for something with a little higher capacity? I would imagine there's not a lot of space inside a KB so fitting something a bit bigger might be a challenge.

      • It takes 2 x AAs. I stick a couple of eneloops or ikea rechargables in mine and it lasts for months, maybe years.

        • sigh - if only other manufacturers were so sensible…

This is pretty much the regular going price at computer stores.

    • whoops, haven't checked the computer store, was on mWave page and it is listed as $159 Inc. Guess should delete this post.

Thanks for pointing it out though.

  • I don't even need this - I bought the razer deathstalker v2 pro wireless a few months back for a way cheaper than usual discount price.

    • $139 was a bargain, mines still sitting in a box as a spare

      • What are you using instead - the DS v2 pro is a flagship imo, not a spare

I have this one, not recommend it.

    • Is the keyboard too light? Not clicky enough?

      • -1

        Is the keyboard too light?

Hell no, it's bulky as. Nearly 1.5kg

        Not clicky enough?

? What does that mean? They're not advertised as clicky switches.

        • I'm trying to get some information from them as to why they would not recommend it…

      • +2

It's heavy, but the feeling when you typing is pretty bad. It's hard to describe …
And also, the G keys on the left is annoying.
I have a few Mechanical keyboards, this is the worst one I have..

  • What / how were you using Ctrl+Space?

    • +1

the Ctrl+Space was a hotkey to switch input e.g. English/ Chinese since properly windows 98, and since windows 10, this combination was just "taken" by OS and cannot use it anymore, after windows 10, we will be using windows key + space to switch inputs.

I used to use Corsair keyboards with 2x windows keys, but new models are replacing one of the windows key with FN or Menu key.

  • Experienced very bad key chatter with this board, same with my G810 from a while ago. Very annoying.

Switches feel really mushy and unsatisfying, stabilisers are rattly AF. Build quality is pretty meh, just a hunk of creaky plastic. Can't swap out the keycaps either.

Only positive I have about this is the battery life, which does last quite a while, but otherwise I'd avoid.

  • I just bought a Leopold FC750RBT for around 75-ish and was absolutely impressed with the overall quality. This keyboard is far better than the G613 and many mechanical keyboards in the same price range that I had in the past.

    • +1

A quick google comes back with $140USD for this keyboard. Where did you get it for $75-ish?

      • mWave got it on sale last week. I intended to post it here, but I was super busy with my ongoing projects.

I thought someone on Ozbargain would post it, but I was wrong.

  • isn't this not backlit? Razer BlackWidow V3 Mini is around same price on eBay / Amazon sales. phantom edition, too, RGB fans rejoice

    • Not backlit, hence the 18 month battery life.

  • +1

Can anyone recommend a membrane keyboard that has programmable keys, backlit, potentially wireless? Thinking something less than $100. Thanks

  • +1

not recommend this keyboard as it has a common problem of duplicate key registration

Didn't used mine for several months and when started using it observed the issue after 4-5 months but when reached harvey norman they said its more than 12 months now and nothing could be done

  • Guys the keyboard you REALLY need is here, much better IMO.

    • usually dispatched within 4 to 5 days? that's a deal breaker

  • Got a MX Blue keyboard that I've got to retire due to noise complaints in the office - does anyone know how this would compare for feel?

    • +1

This does not have clicky switches, so no audible click to annoy your coworkers. Though it can still be plenty loud depending on how you type. This board is definitely quite pingy.

Honestly, they would feel pretty similar though, these switches really are not great and you're better off looking at other boards from Keychron or ones of AliExpress that are at least hotswappable.

      • +1

Cheers, I appreciate the input. I'll skip this!

Like other people said, this is not a good keyboard long term.

Under perfect conditions one day after like 7 months it randomly developed "key chatter" and was literally unusable.

Luckily it got lost in the warranty process somehow and I just got a refund.
