  • Ohhhh, so that's what those things are for. hahaha.

Contrary to popular belief they are not made for sticking on the tops of your shoes.

  • These things are great on tall cars like suv n 4x4 for checking the distance from the kerb when you are parking. Looks awful on the wing mirrors but compared to scratched rims, i can take that little bit of awfulness!

Adjusting the left mirror down is free… Some cars even do it automatically……

yep. agree that some cars have that feature. I have seen it on BMW and high-end VW. Unfortunately, my XC90 doesn't :(

Plus adjusting the mirror down to see the kerb usually means you can't see the back at the same time so this little mirror gives you the best of both worlds!

        • What year model is that? Some of the higher model Falcons & Commodores have it too now, it's slowly filtering into the market.

You don't need to see the back, isn't that why it's called a bumper bar :)

I hadn't thought of additional uses for these initially but since getting some they are also really good for reverse parking evenly between the 2 white lines of your parking bay. For that reason they should be compulsory.

  • I've previously picked up a set at supercheap for $2.50, personally I wouldn't wait 2-4 weeks to save 51 cents

    • you're not saving 51cents. you're saving a massive 20%!!!

      • thanks - I'm gunna take them back now. :)

  • it isn't legal in qld to cover up part of your factory mirrors. if you want blind spot mirrors, you should get the ones that stick out from the factory mirrors.
