    • What do you mean????????

      • +16

He's saying to wait for a better price

        • Aaaah OK got it, thanks. Kind of like the reverse of 'holding' onto shares in the hope that their value goes up.

If you're a fan from the Left 4 Dead days, give this a miss, it's so disappointing.

    • +6

For $1 it's worth it though.
I quite enjoyed it to be honest!

      • +1

At $1 I buy it just for the case.

    • +1

They made it way more complicated that it should be. I spent more time figuring out what the cards meant than actually playing the game.

  • +4

Got bored of this in 10 minutes :(

$8.75 trade value at EB (Lv5)…..just saying

    • +8

make a profit at eb games :D buy 10 of them for 10 bucks then trade in for a 100 ps5 game :D

    • +1

Only $3 credit at CEX now :(

      • +3

Yeah CEX get onto it quick hahaha

      • yeah CEX is a joke I would never trade there.

        • +2

? I thought CEX was pretty straight forward. Up front easily accessible pricing list so you know exactly how much you can get.

Could be nation wide as I saw then in Brisbane City

  • +4

    meh game.

  • +8

I've been having fun playing the campaign online with some friends. We probably won't play after the campaign is done, but worth it for a $1!

    • +6

Same here. I'm a huge fan of L4D and this definitely scratched that itch but as soon as I finished all the campaigns I was done with it.

  • +12

The sequel to Back 4 Blood.

  • +1

Why were people so disappointed by this game?

    • +4

Every time I've seen complaints about it, it was being compared to Left 4 Dead.

I never got into Left 4 Dead at the time(not a reflection of the quality; just on my lack of free time), so my view of B4B when I recently started playing it was that it was a fun 4-player zombie game? Maybe L4D and L4D2 were much better, but I really wouldn't know.

I understand it B4B had some teething issues at release also, not to mention it it apparently a bit of a short play through at first, and was priced relatively high.

For $30 I thought it was worth the money, so for $1 it's a steal. But the problem with games like this is that you need at least 1 other player…doesn't give it much in the longevity department given how old it is now and the player-base would be dwindled down significantly, particularly on the PS4.

      • +2

L4D and L4D2 had a shiny coat of Valve paint on them. If you look at comparisons between them and B4B you can see that they’re much higher quality games despite being fairly old at this point

    • +1

It was heavily marketed and aimed at the L4D fanbase and fell well short of expectations.

  • You need to get paid by playing this game

  • +1

OOS in Mt Gravatt, Carindale and McCarthur just did the ring around lol

  • Anyone else sniffing a PS Plus or soon to be Free-To-Play?

  • +5

Been playing for a while now. This game is enjoyable. Unpopular opinion, It's better than l4d. Theres a card deck system, more aim and attachments, character specs that affect playstyle. Can't go wrong for $1

    • +1

I was initially turned off by the cards(thought it was a loot-box type thing) but once I understood them, I think they're a good addition!

      • Agree, I liked the tactical element of organising cards into a "these drop sooner, these later". It added layers of strategy to a zombie game that a lot of CoD zombies fans didn't particularly want (fair enough, I guess, everyone likes what they likes).

They've now made it that all cards in your deck are activated at the start of the game now however so it's now "take whatever perks you want, they all land at the start, no more ordering deck stuff". It (might) appease the casual shooter fans who're left playing it.

I appreciated the unique mechanic (game studios trying new ideas is a good thing) and liked the game for what it was. But after my friends finished their campaigns and moved on to other titles, I finished up with it too.

People saying it's the worst thing ever sound a bit Comic Book Store owner IMHO.

    • Honestly, you are the only person I have ever heard of having that opinion.

  • +4

Redfall in the not so distant future

  • +3

zero at Browns plains in QLD.

    • +1

      Thank you fellow QUEENSLANDER

      • +1

the only state that matters :D

  • +3

    $1 for a coaster…
game is dead in the water like everything else released by turtle rock studios.

    • I was thinking about getting this a while back but after seeing how they didn't allow community content the way left 4 dead did, it was destined to fail

  • +1

Nothing at hyperdome at logan holmes qld

  • +1

About what its worth. Good for a cheap case swap.

    • Good for trade in price to get something better

  • +2
